C H A P T E R 21

—daniel's pov—

i yawn and check the time, '10:28 pm'. i look down to find nova fast asleep in my arms, her head rested comfortably on my chest. carefully, i remove her head and her arms from my body.

'hm, leaving already' she lightly chuckles as she rubs her eyes

'yeah, i have to get back to the bus. they're pulling upfront in a couple minutes' i reply as i lean over the bed and kiss her forehead

'i understand, have fun baby' she smiles

'and you too' i respond

'good night, sweet dreams' i continue, pushing a strand of hair away from her face

'good night' she yawns

i pull the blankets over her body and shut off the lights. my phone buzzes from my back pocket, signaling an incoming call

'hello?' i ask as i wait for the elevator

'hey, you coming down soon?' corbyn asks

'yeah, i'm coming down. give me a couple minutes' i reply, entering the elevator

'ok cool, we just pulled up so meet us upfront' he yawns

'ok' i yawn, hanging up the phone

i walk out of the elevator and out the hotel doors, i lightly knock on the bus door and the driver opened it.

'well nice of you to join us' zach sarcastically remarks

'well isn't it a little past your bedtime kiddo' i mock

'well isn't it past your bedtime?' zach loudly whispers

'atleast im considered an adult' i laugh

'go to bed you two' jonah states from his bunk

'yeah go to bed daniel' zach mocks once more

'whatever you child' i laugh once more, slightly pushing his forehead

'rude' zach mumbles

'i mean you kinda started it' jack mumbles from his bunk

'uH wHaT yOu SaY bOy?' zach asks as he approaches jack's bunk

'just stating facts bro' he shrugs as zach pulls open the small curtain

out of rage, zach begins to slap jack as he laughs uncontrollably.

'do i really need to put you kids to bed?' jonah yells

'i mean you might' corbyn replies from his bunk

'well good night guys' i yawn before going into my bunk

—nova's pov—

i yawn as i wake up to the sun beaming brightly through the balcony door. i rub my eyes and stretch, the phone buzzes a couple times, so i roll over to the nightstand and pick it up.

9:42 am

daniel :
good morning babygirl

daniel :
we're heading to another interview

daniel :
hope you have a good day today <3

nolan :
hey gm

nolan :
wanna get some brunch in a couple hours?

i unlock my phone and respond to both guys. i get up and prepare for brunch with nolan, i get washed up and dressed before grabbing a bag, my wallet and phone and head out the door. i wave down a taxi and show the driver the destination of the restaurant, then we were off.
