C H A P T E R 36

—nova's pov—

after a couple of hours of daniel trying to convince me to go, i finally decided why not since the agency hasn't called for me yet.

i decided to make a call to mr. kane to tell him about the tour, 'hello mr. kane!' i exclaim

'hey nova, how are you doing?' he asks

'i'm doing pretty well actually' i reply

'so what's the reason for the call?' he questions

'i was calling to say that i'll be joining daniel and his band on their holiday tour. but if you need me somewhere i can uber over to the photo shoot as long as it's near the area' i respond

'sounds good nova! text me the places you'll be going to and i'll see if there's a photo shoot around the area' he exclaims

'alright, thank you mr. kane' i state before hanging up

'so what'd he say?' daniel suddenly stated

i slightly jump before turning around to see daniel leaning on the doorframe

'don't do that you scared me' i chuckle slightly as i place a hand over my heart

'im so sorry' he laughs as he embraces me in a hug

'so are you good to come with us?' he questions

'yeah he said it's fine, but i might have to do a couple photoshoots if i'm needed' i reply

'that's fine, you're doing your job and i'm doing mine' he smiles before pulling me back in

'so what do you wanna do today' he asks

'we should relax and take it easy since you've been traveling like crazy' i state

'i like that idea' he yawns

'so, wanna do a movie marathon then?' i ask

'im down, pick whatever movies you wanna watch, im gonna take a quick shower' he replies before kissing me and walking away

i head over to the living room to grab a couple movies before walking back to daniel's room. i stalk the small tower of dvds near the tv before seeing a head pop around the corner

'hey nova, i need your opinion on something' anna exclaims

'ok, what's up?' i ask as she grabs my hand and pulls me into her room

'ok im going out for a friend's birthday so should i wear this two piece of this my mom jeans and a white crop top?' she questions

i look at the two piece laying on her bed, the black jeans and black crop top laid near some film disruptors, a chain, and a small bag. i then look over to the other outfit she'd laid out. her mom jeans had a worn out look, her white crop top laid just above the jeans. a small classy handbag laid next to the whole outfit and some regular white tennis shoes laid below it.

'honestly, i'd go for the mom jeans and crop top' i reply

'alright sounds good' she states

'you want me to put it up while you change?' i ask

'yeah if you would, thank you' she replies

i grab the two piece and walk over to her closet and open it, i notice her clothes are organized by color so i put it in with the rest of her black clothing.

'ok, how do i look?' she asks as i close her closet door

'you look absolutely amazing' i reply as i walk over to her

'thank you! also what jewelry would look good with this?' she questions

i look over to the small cabinet she has open, it held all her necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings. i look through her collection of necklaces before spotting a simple and small gold necklace, then i spot a couple of her minimalistic rings and grab them.

'i think these will work' i state before handing her the jewelry

she puts on her rings and the necklace before looking at her outfit in the mirror

'it's perfect, thank you nova!' she exclaims before giving me a hug

—daniel's pov—

after hopping out of the shower, i got dressed in some sweats and a t-shirt, i noticed the small stack of dvds sitting near the tv and assumed nova was probably doing something to wait for me. i walked out of my bedroom and into the small hallway to look for her. i hear a couple voices come from anna's room, so i decided to go check. as i popped around the corner to check, i saw nova and anna standing near her mirror. i smiled as i watched nova hand anna something, the fact that they were getting along warmed my heart.

'oh my friends are here, i should get going' anna states as she quickly grabs her phone

i walk out from behind her doorframe before almost running into anna

'oh hey daniel, i'm gonna be out for a couple hours, so i'll see you guys later' she quickly states before walking down the hallway

'hey, you finally ready?' nova asks

'yeah, let's go' i smile as nova takes my hand and leads me to my bedroom
