—daniel's pov—

i watched her walk away feeling so defeated, my tears flowed down my cheeks and i felt emptiness inside of me. i felt like someone had knocked the air out of me, i slowly walked back to the venue only to see nova storming past me with an upset expression and nolan running past me

'dude what happened?' zach asks as i approach them

'nova broke up with me' i mumble

'what?' corbyn asks

'nova broke up with me because of communication issues' i say as more tears flow out of my eyes

jonah walks up and hugs me as the other boys do the same

'i don't know what i did wrong, i shouldn't have said anything-'

'don't beat yourself over this daniel, maybe she'll come around, but don't dwell on this forever' jonah sighs as i wipe away my tears

'yeah i guess' i sigh once more before walking away

'they were so happy though' zach whispers warning a quick slap on the arm by jack

'let's not talk about nova around him for now' jack whispers back

—nova's pov—

'nova wait up!' nolan exclaims as he runs over to me

'what happened?' he continues as he turns me around to see my face

'nothing happened nolan!' i yell as i hold back the tears

'well telling from your expression 'nothing definitely didn't happen, what's up?' he asks in a soft tone

'i broke up with daniel' i blurt out, the tears starting to cascade down my cheeks

'did you do it or did he?' he questions

'i did' i breathe out

'why' he asks simply as he rubs my arms

'i don't know, i got angry at him cause he got angry at me for not telling him who you were and what you meant to me and then i just went off on him' i exclaim

'nova, if you didn't tell him who i was then he had a right to be angry. he obviously doesn't want to lose you to someone else, and that's why he lashed out in anger. from what i've seen today, he really loves you nova, he looks at you like your his everything, he really cares about you' nolan sighs as he hugs me

'he doesn't, no guy ever does. every guy i've dated has always used me for something, they never genuinely love me like they say they do. every guy is like that, well except for you at least' i mumble

'you know not everyone is like that nova, daniel definitely isn't like that, he genuinely cares about you, he obviously loves you and you are definitely his one and only' nolan replies as he pulls away from the hug

'he'll move on, he'll forget about me and i'll do the same' i breathe out one last time before walking away

'nova-'

'i'm gonna go back to my hotel room and go to bed, good night nolan!' i yell to him before walking to my waiting uber
