Preparations

"Y-YES MAAM!" I exlaimed more out of fear than anything else. The one thing that could scare me in life is an angry Kaori. She is freaky when she gets annoyed, especially when it comes to Kousei. 

"So, let's go over it one more time!" She boomed.

"I-I'm to l-look after Kousei as if it was y-you with him."

"Yes. And?"

"I'm to be at his side at all times."

"And?"

"I am not to divert my attention from Kousei to girls in the mall."

"Or what?"

"I will receive a punishment beyond any I can comprehend."

"Good! I knew you would do as I asked!" She threw her arms around me.

Now, after the warning, she hugs me. Jeez.

"Okay Kaori, you can let the poor guy go. The sooner I leave, the sooner I'm back!"

"Okay fine." She pouted.
"You better not keep me waiting!"

"I'll do my best. No promises though!" He said as he cheekily grinned.

"HEY YO-" She was cut off.

It's moments like these where;
Firstly, I'm reminded of just how single I am and
Secondly, I turn away and leave these two do their own thing. I love them both to death but seriously, they're my two best friends. Sometimes they could really do with getting a room or something!

Once again, they had gotten too into it. I hate doing this but we have a lot to do!

I pulled Kousei away by his collar.

"C'mon buddy. We've got a busy day ahead."

"Okay okay I'm coming."

Kaori was NOT happy that I ended their kiss prematurely. She growled at me like a pitbull!

"Just remember the reason you two are together!" I retorted. Her expression softened a bit.
"Besides, it's like Piano Man said, the sooner we go, the sooner we're back and you two can finish what you started!"

"YOU.WATCH.HIM."

I nervously nod after a few seconds.

"YOU BETTER!"

Kousei embraces her.

"Don't worry. I'll be fine."

"Okay. I believe you." She finally submits.

That guy is always saving my ass. 

"C'mon. Let's go!" He turns to me flashing his signature grin.

Kousei's POV

"We still going with the same plan?" Watari asked me.

"Yep! She'll love it. I'm gonna try recreate our first night together as best as I can. I want to experience all those feelings and all the fun we had that day with her again. So yes, the plan is the same. Firstly, to Tówa Hall! I have to register us in tomorrow's competition. I asked the organiser to hold a spot for us. She knows about this part but everything after is new to her. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees what else I have planned! It's going to be amazing!"

"Well you sure seem enthusiastic about it that's one thing for sure!" He answered.

"Well I just want her to be happy. I don't know how long I have left Watari. I want her to cherish the time we had together. Not stop living because it's gone. I want her to remember me of course but I don't want memories of me to hold her back from being the person she is meant to be. I don't know how much more I have but I'm fighting. For her. For us. I need you to do something for me."
