Chapter 6:*Edited*

After a few shots, I found myself on the top of the table dancing like there is no tomorrow. I don't know when, but I had removed my jacket. Now my yellow top is perfectly revealing every curve of my body. But I was in no state to care.

"Ishita, get down right now" my husband shouted over the music. I looked at Abhimanyu and my eyes widened in surprise. What is he doing here?

"Look everyone it's my husband" I shouted and threw myself on him. He stumbled but eventually caught me. I don't know but I was happy to see him. And I was drunk so that justifies my action.

"Nice catch" I mumbled against his chest. I had no control over my mouth and actions. It was like every part of my body had its brain and was working on its own.

He started moving towards the exit.

"I must say I was looking forward to old Ishita coming back. But I didn't think it would be this quick" he said while making me sit in the passenger seat of his car.

My blood started to boil hearing his words. I moved out of his hold.

"What do you know about old Ishita? You don't even know me. You know neither of my versions. You know nothing about me. From day one I was nothing but nice to you. I didn't even want this marriage. This marriage is nothing more than a contract to me. But still, unlike you, I don't go and blame others for this. So Mr. Saxena, grow up and stop behaving like you are the only one suffering because you are not. I too am suffering because of this marriage. If I had known I would marry an arrogant, self-centered, immature jerk like you, I would have let my father disinherit me rather than marry you. But it's not too late to enjoy your life. I have signed the divorce papers and kept them in your room. You can go ahead and blame things on me. Set yourself free. Because I don't want to live with someone who is too quick to judge someone" I shouted.

I started moving towards my car, but my vision started to blur. Before I could figure out what was happening, I passed out.
