It didn't take long for Jin to reach his car that was parked in a nearby parking lot and race home. By the time he got there, his phone was blowing up with texts from Namjoon. They were left ignored as he entered his large apartment that felt empty without her presence.

Jin quickly sat on the old couch, the only sound being the ticking of the grandfather clock next to the stairs. His thinking quickly began.

Last time I glitched, I wished for something in the past to change, so it did, and I'm living the present result of that change in the past. So If I can do that again...

The ticking continued slowly just as time did. There was so much to fix. Could he make everything better somehow by wishing for one thing?

He huffed, saying to himself, "I'll start with Taehyung." Jin took in a deep breath and closed his eyes before muttering his next words. "I wish Taehyung's father was sent to prison when he was little."

The ticking stopped. Jin opened his eyes. All seemed the same. But had time stopped? His question was answered when a bird tweeted outside his window. The clock must be malfunctioning.

He pulled out his phone to find that there were no longer any texts from Namjoon, but Yoongi. The younger had said to call him. A sigh of relief heaved in his chest, bringing a small smile to his face. Yoongi knew him, so maybe Victoria did, too.

The call was made easily, and Yoongi picked up in the grumpy way that was all too familiar. "Yoo—"

"What the fuck, Hyung."

Jin was taken back by the tone in his voice. "What?"

"Jungkook said you were supposed to take him to his DMV appointment," Yoongi growled into the receiver.

He smiled—it was the first he was hearing about Jungkook even wanting his license. "Sorry, I'm...I forgot."

"Clearly. I took him but he was late and they said he had to reschedule!"

"Write a song about it," Jin replied sarcastically.

There was silence on the other line. "Why would I write a song?"

"I don't know, Victoria said she saw a song you were writing for the piano."

More silence. "I don't play anymore. You know that. And who the fuck is Victoria?"

"Damn," Jin cursed to himself. It seemed that everyone's lives were more intertwined than he realized. "Um, have you seen Taehyung lately?"

"Okay, are you drunk or something?" Yoongi shouted, voice a bit muffled as it sounded like he was speaking around a cigarette. "You keep name dropping like we know these people and it's pissing me off. By Victoria, do you mean the idol star from not-so-popular-anymore f(X)? Or the actress that wears shoes that cost more than your life?" Jin said nothing. Actress? "And by Taehyung, do you mean Kim Taehyung? The T.O.P of actors?"

Again, he couldn't think of anything to say. The thought of Victoria and Taehyung being famous was such a weird concept. Maybe Yoongi was talking about someone else. "Sorry, I just—"

"No, no, just shut the fuck up for a second."

Jin's pride flared, igniting a bit of anger in him. He was older than Yoongi and should've been spoken to with at least a little respect. What was Yoongi's problem? "Who do you think you are?" Jin shot back, voice raising.

"Look, Hyung, you're acting crazy and I'm pissed the fuck off so I'll talk to you later."

Without another word, the insolent Yoongi hung up, leaving Jin in complete confusion as to what was happening.
