Dan's P.O.V

We burst into the hideout of the Dark Hounds. Everywhere I saw people with shocked or angry, but yet prepared looks on their faces. They were looking at us, ready to fight.

I heard a battle roar coming from my right. I turned to the right and saw a small guy around the age of 20 coming for me. I grabbed my rifle, Diripiet, and hit the guy in the head with the grip of my rifle. He fell to the ground, grabbing his head. I looked at him with disgust.

I grabbed with both of my hands his collar and lifted him in the air. 'Where is your boss?' I yelled angrily at him. Surprisingly, the guy answered. 'The room at the end of the longest hallway. You all will die. No one has ever won of our boss.' The guy said grinning. 'Then we will be the first ones.' I said threatening. I threw the guy against the wall and prepared myself for battle.

Julie raised her sword in the air. 'GET THEM!' She yelled and everyone started to roar, running and searching for their first opponent.

It became right away a battlefield. Everyone was people fighting each other. A lot of people had surrounded Julie, Nanami and Kaya, but I didn't worry, because right away, the three girls started to beat them up.

I looked around and searched for Jodie and Ayden. Since I didn't see them, I suspected that they had hid themselves somewhere save for our strategy that Ayden had made.

I turned around and also started to knock out members.

'Dan, stoop!' Julie exclaimed and I dropped myself to the ground. Julie was holding her bow and fired an arrow that went above me, ending up in a girl's throat. She dropped to the ground and wasn't moving a muscle.

I stood up from the ground and run towards the direction where the boss was supposed to be, being followed by Julie, Kaya, Vince and Mila, a 16-year-old girl that's trained as a hunter. She is an expert in bow and arrow, spears and guns, especially snipers.

Out of nowhere, we were surrounded by people, completely dressed in black. Their faces were covered, only their dark, strange colored eyes were being revealed.

We tried to fight our way out, but we all ended separated from each other. Julie surrounded by 8 members. I was about to towards her to help her out, but I was pushed to the ground.

A man who was two heads taller than me, was looking at me with his inhuman green eyes, piercing into my eyes. 'I think you lost something.' His deep voice said as he held up something familiar. He was holding my holster. How did he get that?

I had no weapons. I was completely defenseless. I stood up, telling him that I wasn't intimidated by his appearing.

He threw my holster far away and grabbed a knife from his pocket. I couldn't see his mouth, but I knew that he had a big grin on his face.

He stood in front of me with his knife raised above his head. He tried to stab me, aiming for my shoulder, but I blocked his arm with mine.

'Dan, look out!' I heard Julie exclaim. I looked down and saw that the guy had another knife in his free hand. He aimed for my stomach. I stepped away but the knife went across my side. I groaned in pain.

I dodge his attack and punched him right in the nose. Blood dripped out of his nose as he cried out. 'I've had enough!' He roared and he threw one of his knives at my knees.

'You are way too fast annoyed.' I said as I jumped away and was completely off guard. The man kicked me with great force in my stomach, feeling nauseous. I bumped against the wall and fell to the ground on my knees. 'It's over now, you little punk!' The man said pissed off as he kicked against my chest, causing to suck all of the air out of my lungs.

'No!' Julie yelled as she knocked out another guy. I kept looking at him as he raised his knife in his hand. I closed my eyes and waited for him to kill me.

'Dan!'

I opened my eyes to see my little sister coming for me. The man sighed in annoyance and was ready to kill Jodie. 'Jo-die, get... out.' I tried to yell, but I was in too much pain to raise my voice.

The man started to run with his knife pointing it Jodie's direction. Jodie stepped away in time and kicked the knife out of his hands. I heard the sound of bones cracking and the man roared in pain.

Jodie grabbed something out of her pocket and threw it towards the man and he stopped moving. There came weird sounds out of his mouth.

There was a small dagger made of white iron in his neck. There was a leash that stopped in Jodie's hand. 'Electrocute!' Jodie exclaimed and a bright, blue light went through the leash towards the dagger. Sparks fell around and the man fell, lying motionless on the ground.

I was astonished. My little sister just killed a guy.

'Dan!' She exclaimed as she ran toward me. She fell to the ground and wrapped her slender arms around my neck. I groaned softly out of pain, but I managed to wrap my arm around my little sister.

'I thought you were going to die!' She cried in my neck. I patted on her head. 'I'm fine. Now let's get those other guys.'

I removed her face out of my neck and showed me her bright smile. I smiled back. 'Why are you out of your hiding spot?' I asked her. 'You were about to be killed. Do you think I'm going to sit and watch that happen?' She asked me with the context if I was stupid. 'Thanks, lil' sis. I owe you one.'

'The family reunion is cute and all, but we need help here!' I heard Vince exclaim. 'There finally came something useful out of your mouth!' Mila said as she shot a girl. 'Shut up!' Vince exclaimed angrily as he hit a guy with his baseball bat.

I stood up and ran towards my holster to get my weapons back. I immediately grabbed my white gold sword, Aurum and started to help out the others.

I swung my sword to the left and watched as the last standing member I took down dropped to the ground. I gasped for air.

'How long are we going to take to get to that damned boss?' Julie asked pissed off. 'I think its right behind that door-' I was cut off by a strange, zooming noise. Suddenly, a normal door, next to the giant door, was blown out of its frame and there came bee-like monsters, with blue-red striped bodies, towards us.

'What are Apibus doing here?' Kaya asked anxious. 'It's better to ask how they got here?!' Mila said terrified.

'Apibus?' Jodie said confused. 'Those are monsters that are like bees. They have stings that are poisonous. If they sting you, you'll die.' Vince explained. Jodie gasped.

I grabbed my little sister's arm. 'Jodie! Go back to Ayden! You'll be safe!' I said to Jodie who was staring at me with wide eyes. 'What about you?!' I asked anxious. 'I'll be fine. Just go!' I said as I pushed her away from the Apibus. She turned around to take one last look at me. I saw a tear rolling down her face. 'Don't be scared! We'll get out of here alive.' I said with a smile on my face.

Jodie simply nodded and whipped away the tears. She turned around and started to make her way towards Ayden.

I turned back to the Apibus who were flying above us. 'Prepare for fight!' Julie exclaimed. I raised a bracelet in the air and started to summon my MP7. 'I ask you to awaken, Guns of Personal Defense, Propriis Defensio!'

'Let's get these sons of bitches!' Vince exclaimed in excitement.
