Dan’s P.O.V

Julie ran towards Darren with her yellow lizard sword in her hands and was ready to attack him. She jumped upon the stage. She swung her sword but Darren dodged the blade and she was smashed against the wall, because of Darren kicking against her legs. ‘You really think you can defeat me with that pathetic, little sword?’

Julie stood up and tried to stab Darren, but he kicked her sword out of her hands, making it fly off the stage. A grin appeared on Julie’s face. She fasted forward and punched him in the stomach. ‘Don’t underestimate me!’ She hissed at him. She jumped and made a round kick, aiming for his head. 

Darren grabbed her foot and raised it in the air, causing Julie to fall to the ground on her back. She groaned and tried to stand up right away, but Darren stopped her by kicking her several times in her side with full force. I saw that she refused to scream, because it would only satisfy Darren. ‘Let her go.’ I shouted. He pulled her up with her hair and kicked her in the stomach. Julie groaned in pain.

Darren looked at me with a sly glance. He didn’t expect me to save her. ‘She is just another lifeless girl with no future. She found out that I and the Golden Cave had something to do with each other. She is about to mess up my plan. I’m not going to let that happen.’

‘What plan?’ I asked furiously. ‘My plan is to take away every single mage’s power and to release the monsters again!’ I said with a huge grin on his face. ‘But first,’ he said as he looked at Julie who he was still holding her up with her hair. ‘Let’s settle some things down.’

 ‘I said, let her go!’ I roared furious. I grabbed my blue dragon gun. I aimed for Darren’s hands and shot the bullet out of the barrel. Darren dropped Julie on the ground and stepped away. Julie groaned in pain as she fell to the hard, wooden floor.

‘Julie, hang in there!’ She looked up with tears in her eyes. She was terrified. She stretched her arm out, to make a sign that I had to stop, but I ignored it. I was going to save her, even if it cost my life! 

‘Is she that precious to you?’ Darren asked laughing. I gritted my teeth. ‘Come on boy. Answer me.’ Darren said amused as he looked at Julie again. She was trying to get up again, but Darren pushed her back to the ground by placing his foot on her back. She clenched her teeth as she groaned in pain. 

‘Behave like a good girl and stay on the ground.’ Darren said as he started to lean on his foot that was on Julie’s back, crushing her against the hard floor.

I ran towards Darren as I raised one of my bracelets in the air. ‘I ask you to awaken, Sword of Snake Zinc, Elotae Coluber!’ My snake zinc sword appeared in my hands and I made my way to Darren even faster.

‘Get out of here. You don’t belong here!’ Darren said, trying to bring me down, but I didn’t listen to him. I jumped upon the stage where he was with Julie. ‘I said, get out!’

*Bang!*

A bullet flew next to my head. My eyes grew wide when I realized that if I stood two feet to the right. I was shot in the head. A big grin appeared on my face. ‘You really need to learn to aim!’ I roared out and started to run towards him again.
