Tay's POV

I walked back to the hotel wondering how Cris was going to react to the news that we were going to see her favourite band live in only a matter of hours.

When I got up to the room I found Cris lying on the bed watching some sort of American TV show
"Hey. Did you have fun?" she asked wiggling her eyebrows
"I did thank you very much" I said sitting next to her
"Is that it? Are you not going to tell me what happened?"
"We had coffee and talked"
"For over four hours?" she said winking
"Yes. I suppose we just lost track of time" I smiled
"Aw, someone's got a crush!" she sang getting up and skipping around the room
"I've only known him like two days" I defended myself.

Did I have a thing for him, though?

"Anyway, get ready we're going out in an hour or so" I said trying to sound as casual as possible
"Where?" she asked looking at me suspiciously
"It's a surprise!"
"Well how do I know what to wear?"
"Just something casual"

When she emerged from the bathroom, after getting ready, I had to stop myself from bursting out laughing; she was wearing an All Time Low shirt.
"Are you really not going to tell me where we're going?" she wined checking he had everything in her bag
"That'd ruin the surprise and besides, I want to see your face when you find out" I laughed and she glared at me.

Just as we were leaving I checked my reflection one last time. I had decided on dark skinny jeans, a Down But Not Out top with Jack's hoodie and a grey beanie.

Like Jack said I told the taxi driver where to take us and we were there within 20 minutes; the whole way Cris tried to guess where we were going. When we pulled up outside she guessed it was a gig but she still had no idea who was playing or that we were about to head backstage.

"Where are you going? the queue's that way!" she said sounding confused as we walked straight past the queue looking for the side door.
"I know, who said we were queuing up?" I winked. How did she not realise by now?
"What are you talking about, Tay?" she asked confused
"Just wait here a second while I sort something out" She did as she was told and I made my way over to the large looking man, dressed all in black standing my the door. I just hope Jack remembered to tell him my name or this could get embarrassing

"Hello. Can I help you?" he asked with a kind smile. He wasn't at scary as he looked after all.
"Hi, my friend Jack said he'd give you my name so I could go see him before the show" he eyed me suspiciously. I'm not surprised, I bet loads of people try this.
"Name?" he asked pulling a piece of paper from his pocket
"Taylor Davis" he scanned the sheet
"Ahh yes here you are. Do you have a plus one?" he asked smiling again
"Yup, she's just over there. She has no idea about this" I giggled waving to Cris to come over
"How did you keep that one from her?" he asked
"I actually have no idea" I replied. Cris walked over looking more confused than ever
"Okay you can go in. Have fun" the security guard said holding the door open for us
"Thank you. Wait, where do we go?" I asked turning around
"Just follow the corridor. I'll radio Matt telling him you're here"
"Okay, thanks again" I called back walking down the long corridor.

"Matt? Who's Matt? The only Matt I can think of is... no. It can't be!" she said following me basically talking to herself.

We walked down the white corridor taking in all of it's details, the scattered equipment and various wires, the road cases and the set lists plastered to almost every door. How Cris failed to notice these I'll never know.

We turned the corner and were met bad a man with a lip piercing wearing a Micky Mouse jumper
"Hey I'm Matt. You must be Tay" he said putting down the papers he had in his hand and stretching it out to me
"That's me and this is Cris" I said shaking it. We both turned to see Cris stood still with her moth wide open
"Oh. My. God. You're Matt Flyzik, All Time Low's tour manager which means the show we're here to see is All Time Low's. I think I'm going to pass out" she said in one breath starting to shake
"FINALLY!" I shouted "Sorry about her, she's a huge fan and she only figured out about 3 seconds ago who we're here to see" I told a worried looking Matt
"I see" He laughed, relaxing a bit "Well they're just finishing sound check and if everything goes to plan they'll be going on stage at 9 so you've got about 3 hours to hang out or whatever"
"Okay, thanks"
"No problem. Just head in there and I'll tell them you guys are here when they finish, they shouldn't be too long" he said pointing to a door then returning back to his paperwork
