**A/N Don't get too excited about this chapter it's just a sort of filler. I'm sorry for how much it sucks**

Jack's POV

There was a spell of complete silence when Tay had finished singing, broken by quiet whimpers and sniffles. Charlie didn't cry, he just stared into space, face so pale he looked as if he was going to throw up. Tay didn't really cry either, her face stayed still as the tears rolled over her skin.

I think that's one of the worst things you can see happening to a person, when they don't make a sound, their body doesn't even move but the tears stream freely. It's as if they've given up on everything, even trying to cry. They just sit and stare ahead, unaware of everything going on around them.

I tightened my hug around Tay, seeming to snap her out of her daze. She looked at me, her eyes considerably duller than before. She shifted on my lap so she was able to bury her face in my neck, I played with her hair.

After a while we were told by a doctor that we needed to leave the room. Saying our final, final goodbyes we did as we were told.

Charlie had offered to drive me and Tay back to hers since I didn't really know where I was going and we'd both agreed Tay wasn't in the right frame of mind to be driving at night.

"Charlie, do you want the apartment?" Tay spoke up for the first time in a while, still looking out of the window at the houses that flew by

"What?" He asked and glanced in the back of the car, where me and Tay were sat, momentarily with a confused look

"You're looking for a place and I think I'm going to go away for a while so you may as well live there" she stated obviously

"Where are you going?" I asked, joining the conversation. She shrugged at me, looking blank

"I'll travel around"

"Alone?" Charlie asked cautiously

"Yeah. Not like I have anyone to go with anymore" she mumbled the last part to herself thinking no one heard

I didn't like the thought of Tay being alone and I tried to search my mind for an alternative option, then it hit me

"Come on tour with us" I said making her head snap away from facing out of the moving car and towards me instead. She raised her eyebrows as if she didn't hear what I said "Come on tour with us" I repeated myself "You'll still get to travel and you won't be alone. Even if it's just for a little while and if you don't like it you can come ho-"

"Okay" she cut me off

"What?"

"Okay. I'll come" she clarified, bluntly and for a moment I thought I was going to see her perfect smile again but she turned away without saying any more

When we got inside the apartment, Tay immediately walked into her room and shut the door behind her. I'd assumed she was going to sleep but she came out soon later carrying a black hold-all in one hand and a guitar bag in the other. She put them by the front door and walked over to talk to Charlie

"I'm going now, here are the keys" she said handing him a few silver keys to the front door

"Are you sure about this?" he asked, she nodded

"I just can't stay here" she said looking around sadly at all of Cris' belongings in the room "I'll be back before you know it and then I'll meet Molly" she said and Charlie smiled slightly

"Don't do anythign stupid, okay?" he said pulling her into a hug

"I'll try" she said hugging him back "I'll call you in the morning"
