Shooting Star

Sitting down there the grass
Under the night sky full of stars
Suddenly I saw a streak of light rushing down;
It was a shooting star ive been drowning a lot-

Quickly I close my eyes and hold tight in my hands
Chanting those words making me so weak-
Tears falling down
My soul is tearing apart
Same as our memories flashing back;

I cant hold on anymore
So much pain
And so much misery-
In those times times that i want you
And trying to mend your broken pieces;
I didn't notice I lost my own self-
Leaving behind my sanity and sacrificing my own peace

Full of hopes
I open my eyes and loosen my grip
I turn around, carefully not to tripped
I suddenly felt a pang on my chest-
When I saw your hands interwined with somebody else

I saw you smile
A bright smile that i know im not the reason behind
You waved at me and greeted me "hi"
I smiled, nod my head twice and gently mumbles goodbye

Without a heartbeat, i admit
A lot of things have changed-
But i will never forget;
When a shooting star passes by, and I wish for your happinesss not mine
