23- Favour

We've been sitting on the bed, talking, he was explaining to me how hell works. Yes i accepted on staying, i really want to help this guy, it was just so unfair, what happened to him, he did everything for love. The story he explained a couple of minutes ago, kind of gave me a stange pain, not physical but it kind of hurt to hear him say he was in love, and he seems he still is.

Okay i must stop thinking like that.

"You should avoid the demons, as far as you are the harder they'll smell you're human, and if the know that you're human they'll start asking questions on how you did not die, which i wonder how too. But anyways, just avoid them, they could be very strong creatures and could easily rip your head off." he explained, i sighed, wait rip my head off?

"Wait what!? Can't you put some brain in their heads? I mean your kind of, of a king here? I mean don't you rule hell or something?" i asked confused, i thought he ruled this place, which made his condition harder.

"Yeah, i am, but demons lost their faith towards me after they saw me losing my shit, i killed many demons, i mean Cole did. He tried to make everyone lose faith in me, amd so far he's succeded, no demon would listen to me until i bring them a queen, and not a brainless queen, a queen that can rule better than me." he said, god those demons really are a pain.

"Which brings me to that, can i ask for a favour?" he asked, i nodded.

"Whatever you need." i said and waited for him to ask.

"Could you pretend to be the new queen? I can't handle them anymore, and i know you can rule this place. Just don't let them know you too well." he explained, i thought for a bit.

"But if i pretend to be the queen around them, and you are the king, aren't w-we supposed t-to be together around them too?" i stuttered to the last sentence, i mean i never had a boyfriend how am i supposed to be with a king, and how am i supposed to fake it, i was never good in lying. And i can't just magically be good at it. And lying is wrong.

"We just have to pretend ww are a couple, but if you don't want any touching infront of them i think just talking will satisfy them." he said, he was just confident at this. While on the other hand i felt so uncomfortable.

I know he knows that i don't want any touching because of the reason that i am very faithful to god and jesus and i would never kiss a guy before marriage

"Okay, b-but no touching." i ended. "You'll just tell them i am your new girlfriend, nothing more." i said and he nodded, he hugged me once more and i smiled. He smiled back.

"Tomorrow i'll tell all the kingdom to come down, and you'll be there too so we can tell them." he said standing up.

Wait, i am supposed to be there?

"Uhm.. I don't think you need me to be there i-i mean.." i didn't get to finish my sentence.

"You have to be there, or else they won't believe me." he said and left the room.

I sighed, alright what should i do now?

Going outside would be a mistake, so maybe not that.

I stood up and walked towards the bathroom, i looked inside to see a beautiful Jacuzzi, i closed the door behind me and took off my clothes, i got inside the Jacuzzi and turned the water on. Bubbles filled the bathtub and i leaned back relaxing.

After what seemed like hours i decided to dry myself, i wore my clothes and walked outside, i yawned and stretched, my eye lids got heavier and heavier my the seconds that passed.

I fell on the bed and leaned back on the pillow. The soft red velvet matress hit my body and it instantly made me feel more relaxed.

I wish i could know what my friends are thinking right now, i mean mom and dae must be very worried. I mean it doesn't even matter anymore if two days here last ten minutes down in the earth, i care that my friends are surely already awake looking to find me. I thought to myself as darkness started taking over me.

My dreams have been very scary lately, i can actually start calling them nightmares. This time i can see myself sleeping, is like i am a spirit and i can see my limp body on the bed, and it feels so real it creeps me out more. Suddenly i woke up, taking in a deep gasp, i was looking around the room, suddenly i saw myself looking up at me. My face slowly changed shape, my skin darkened to the point it was peach black, my eyes became red, black wings came from behind my back.

"I follow you now Nova." a creepy voice came out my lips. A very loud scream escaped my lips making the shadow slowly disappear.

Everything in the room started trembling, stuff fell from the shelves as i still screamed.

I stopped screaming and everything went back to normal. My spirit slowly entered my limp body.

I jolted up from the bed, i looked around me as i noticed i had another nightmare.

Suddenly i heard the creaking of the door opening.

"What is going on? Why are you screaming?" Lucifer asked as he entered the room, concern all over his face.

"A-another nightmare." i said quickly while my voice trembled. "The shadow." i said as i slowly managed to look up into Lucifer's eyes. "It's after me." i finished as i tried to calm down, but my breaths didn't seem to go down my throat. Am having an asthma attack.

I started coughing and trying to catch my breath, Lucifer rushed to my side.

"Hey, hey, calm down am here." he said trying to make me look at him, i hiccuped trying to catch my breath. "Look at me, Nova look at me." he ordered and i did as he said, i looked in his beautiful eyes that slowly turned into a soft orange color. I looked in them and focused there, my breathing slowly became stable again. I wrapped my hands around his neck and hugged him tightly. He wrapped his arms arouns my waist slowly and pulling me closer to him as a tear escaped my eye.
