Act 11. Tenacious

— 2 Weeks Later —

This past few days, I was so busy preparing for Kim's upcoming fashion show. I was checking all the clothes that he gonna wear and it was perfectly fine though I thought of adding some accessories.

Kim has a lot of photoshoots that made us so busy and still, he's a jerk! He always kept on kissing me in surprise every time I fixed his clothes... though in my cheeks only and sometimes a smack on my lips.

But what I worry the most is that my husband and I didn't have a good conversation lately. He's mood was always foul that made me so annoyed. When I asked him if there's a problem, he wouldn't answer. Sometimes, I don't get him.

I was in the middle of looking some accessories for the fashion show when suddenly my phone alerted me.

"Baby, may nakuha ka na bang driver mo?"

"Nope. I think I'm going to do that after the fashion show."

"Okay baby. Tell me if you didn't find one. I'll be the one to hire a driver for you."

"No, it's fine. I'll do it later when everything's done."

"Okay... I love you."

I was about to reply my husband but somebody bumped me and my phone slipped from my hand.

"I'm sorry. Hindi ko sinasadya." The guy said while he picked up my phone.

Gosh!! The phone's screen was broken!!

"Sorry, hindi ko talaga sinasadya." He apologized.

"It's okay. I'll buy a new one." I answered.

"No, ako nalang ang bibili ng bagong phone mo."

"No, it's okay. I can buy it on my own." I said with a little bit of sarcastic tone.

In a surprised, he grabbed my hand and pulled me. I don't know where he's taking me and just a few minutes, we entered inside the iStore.

"Miss, may available pa kayo na iPhone X?" He asked.

What!!!? He's going to buy the latest iPhone?

"Excuse me. I think this is too much. I can buy a phone for myself."

He took something in his pocket and I saw a wallet and took out his credit card. He gave it to the lady.

"Ako na ang magbabayad." He insisted.

With his persistence, I didn't say anything and let him be. I'll pay him later when I can withdraw from an ATM so that he can use it to pay for his bill.

The lady opened the box and the guy checked and tested the phone. He looked at it for any dentures or any malfunctions.

"Sige Miss, i-swipe niyo na. Kukunin ko na." He said.

I just sighed and I know it cost so much. He's still doing something on the phone until the lady give him the receipt for him to sign. After the transaction was done, the guy grabbed again my hand and went outside.

"Ayan. May bago ka ng phone. Latest pa yan ha." He said while smiling at me.

I took the phone and said. "Thank you. I'll pay you..."

"It's okay. You don't need to pay me." He instantly cut me off.

I nodded and I opened the sim's slot of the phone and put my simcard on it. When everything was set, I directly go to the contacts and instantly make a message for my husband.
