Act 24. Killing Me Softly

My morning wasn't good to start of the day because Pree and I had an argument. Yes, we argued when I didn't answer his question while heading home. No matter I answer it or not, isn't it too obvious?

I went out from the bedroom and saw my husband having coffee in the dining area. I came closer and kissed him on the cheek but he didn't say a thing.

"Daddy, I may be late tonight because of the shooting this afternoon."

"Okay." He answered.

Damn! How can I have a conversation with him not just by answering with 'OKAY'? This makes me crazy.

I pretended that I'm not affected with our little fight last night. It will spoil my breakfast anyway.

After I was done with my morning routine, I head out to work leaving my husband alone in the condo. Oreo fetched me going to the set. He looked at me and mouthed but I didn't get it until he used his eye in a direction and so I followed.

There was nothing on rear mirror till I looked at it closely. There was a small piece of thing at the back of it and I was about to removed it but Oreo stopped me. While the stoplight is on, Oreo send me a message.

"Wag mong tanggalin. May bug ang kotse mo."
"Let's talk casual."

I nodded at him. If I removed that piece maybe they will be alerted that we planned something or they will think that my memories are back.

"Boss, bakit wala ka sa mood?" He asked.

"We had an argument. He asked me if I love Kim which is too obvious." I answered.

"Obvious ang alin? Na mahal mo si Kim?"

"No. Obvious na ang asawa ko ang mahal ko."

"Baka hindi ka sumagot sa kanya kaya nagdududa siya."

"Maybe... but for almost five years, I gave all of my trust to my husband and here we are, fighting because of his suspicion." I honestly shared.

Oreo smiled and said. "Alam mo naman na maganda ang asawa niya kaya marami gustong kumabit."

"Shut up, Oreo!" I said in a loud voice.

He chuckled and I got annoyed.

I arrived early in the set and immediately change my clothes for the shoot. Kim was given a leave and today, my scenes will be shoot together with Tod.

After 30 minutes of fixing myself, I head out to the studio where a classroom was built, and saw Tod talking to the director. He called me for some important instructions.

The director instructed us that the scene will include a little violence where Tod is trying to kill me because of his obsession. I got goosebumps when the director told me that I should act very scared. He also give instructions to Tod where he needs to kill me using a fake pocket knife.

After the instructions were given, we went to our places. The director shouted 'ACTION' and we began. Tod and I had an intense conversation in this scene then it became dark. We followed every instructions of the director and I acted so scared until Tod took out a pocket knife.

The lights were dim and a thunder sound was played making it thrilled. As the script goes, I should be wounded on the my left shoulder and stab. So Tod did a strike on my left shoulder but something's not rght until...

"Ouch!!" I shouted with intense pain when I try to move my left arm.

Tod stopped before he's about to stab me.
