Behind the Pain

London- Pt 1

" So I'm guessing from that smile work has gotten better since last time we spoke" Jordan said from the passenger seat. After nearly three weeks of pure torture waiting for Jordan to arrive the day has finally come and I couldn't wait to arrive home and allow the boys to spend some time with him.

" Yeah, what's it's been nearly three weeks since I told Marshall about our past and since than we have been getting along really well." I replied smiling as I thought about how much work has changed over the past couple of months since I started. Marshall and I seem a lot more closer and getting along a lot more since I told him about Hayden, we travelled to New York unexpectedly a couple of days after our dinner because Marshall had some business to attend and needed my help with, we have also even managed to head back to that diner a couple of time whenever we are both working late. The last time was last week, Marshall had a day in the studio by himself to work on some songs and well as always I had extra work to do for jimmy, Marshall doesn't like me doing extra for jimmy it's not that he gets angry or thinks I should be working on his label's paperwork, he just thinks that jimmy is running me down and that I should at least have some freedom, but the way I look at it is what's the point on having days of when you have no one to spend it with, I'm new to Detroit and making friends is a lot harder than I was anticipating, but that's all about to change now since Jordan has arrived.

" thats good, I'm glad your Enjoying work again" He replied as we travelled down the highway towards Michigan. I'm going to help him get settled in his new home before he has to actually start work and I have to head back to work, You see even though Jordan has arrived this isnt my week to have the boys and well I have to head away for 4 days with Marshall and his crew, Eminem is performing in London while also doing some interviews that I had organised, He likes to get all these stadium concerts and interviews done during the weeks he doesnt have his girls so when he does and he does have to go away he can atleast stay in America.

" so I spoke to your parents, they still cant get over the fact you are working for Eminem, Imagine how they are going to react when they hear you and Marshall are pretty close" Jordan joked already makig assumptions of Marshall and my friendship. He thinks because Marshall and I hang out a lot, like we have been going to dinner, we talk a lot while in the studio, etc that something is going on between us, but his not right, we are clearly just friends that have a lot in comon and enjoy each others company since I still dont have a lot of friends here and well Marshall only has a small circle.

Marshall P.O.V

I have to admit I'm pretty lucky to have come across someone like Andrea to work for me. She has been able to organise my tour dates and interviews perfectly with my days I need to be home. Like this week for instance, she has organised it so we are away for 4 days doing interviews, concerts etc and than also making sure that I'm home for my girls.

But I feel even the presence and atmosphere is a lot different and calmer since Andrea has joined the team, I know Royce and the guys gets along with her really well and they are constantly hanging out backstage, but I also feel ever since Andrea and I had that conversation we have become a lot closer and also have started hanging out together. She knows that I need relaxation time so I dont feel pressured to take drug so I can stay on my game.

" Hey, great show guys" Andrea smiled while walking into my dressing room where all us guys are hanging and chilling after my concert this evening. Im guessing Andrea is just finishing up her work for the night.

" Thanks, you nearly finished?" I replied watching as Andrea continued writing up some thing on the clip board. I can tell she is tired and exhausted but like always refuses to show any signs of weakness. Its been nearly two days since we had arrived and like always I'm really ready to go home and go back to being a father. Tomrrow is basically our last day and you have no idea how excited I am to just have to complete an interview in the morning before I have the day of to do anything I want and than I just got to do one more interview before we can start heading home and back to our normal lives.
