The party

" so how did it go with Hailie and Alaina?" Andrea asked while we sat at the conference table after I convinced Andrea to take some time out and have a break with me just to hang and chill together for a little while.

" Well I told and they said they'll think about it and get back to me " I said smiling at how ridiculous that sounds, I have to wait around while my daughter think about my compromise and get back to me, when truly I should be the one telling them what to do. I watched as Andrea laughed along with how stupid that sounded

" We'll it looks like they have thought about it" she commented making me look up away from my price of a paper and up at her wondering what she is going on about, but all I could see was her looking towards the door where Hailie and Alaina were whispering to each other while walking over towards us.

" Girls what's are you doing here?" I asked watching as the Girls seemed to be bickering about something between them, I thought they would be at home doing homework.

" Well we want to talk about our party" Hailie replied smiling sweetly as the greeted both Andrea and I with a friendly hug.

" That's is my cure to leave" Andrea commented as she packed her things up getting ready to walk back into her office knowing it was family business and didn't want to interupt.

" No we want to talk too both of you, that's why we came here, we knew both of you would be here" Hailie said quickly making sure Andrea didn't get away too soon. I have admit both Andrea and I look at each other wondering why they want Andrea in in the conversation.

" Come on we know our dad talked to you an you somehow convinced him to allow us to have this party" Alaina added, I have no Idea where they figure these things out and like if they have my phone tabbed because they seem to know everything that goes on when they are not there, and once again they are correct about me talking with Andrea making me so a different side to their request.

Slowly Andrea sits back down still a little bit confused as to why the girls want her here, but I just smiled knowing this is actually a good thing because she helped me last time and since she has really good parenting schools she might be the peacemaking in keeping this conversation calm and collected.

" So we have thought about it and we've agreed to have it at yours instead if mums" hailie smiled while sitting across from Andrea and I. I have to be honest it feels like I'm in some kind of conference and finalizing a deal or something, but otherwise I am really happy they have agreed to have it at mine.

" But we do have some rules" Alaina added after seeing the happiness spread across my face and just wanting to wreck this for me, of course they have some rules in their eyes I'm such am embarrassing father.

" Okay what are they" I replied gesturing them to continue as I glanced over and saw the amusement on Andrea face, I guess she can also see how grown up and formal they are.

" Not to overboard with security, yes maybe a few at the front gate but not a lot walking round the party, that will just scare everyone" Alaina said, demanding the first thing they want changing and probably the most important one I have control over.

" You know I don't want this party to get out of Control" I said while leaning forward and putting on my protective father voice, trying to sound stern. Security is defiantly a big thing and I don't think I want to change this.

" It won't we promise, it's not even going to be that big" Hailie said trying to convince me that it's not going to get out of control, I guess she can tell I'm not budging on cutting Down the security.

" look we've cut down on people, so it's hardly anyone and it will just look stupid having your security walking round" she continued, sliding over the piece of paper which has all the names on it and showing me where they scribbled out only a few of the people's names. I can see they have gone to a lot of trouble in showing me they are all organized.
