Confusing behaviour

" don't tell me you guys are arguing again?" Royce asked eagerly as he followed me around backstage trying to get information about our first date.

" it's complicated" I just replied trying to act busy and like I'm doing something important when honesty I'm just trying to get away from him so I don't have to answer any questions.
Tonight's the last night of the Detroit shows and it's been 2 whole days since that night with Marshall.

" far out!!!!!! It was a date, it was meant to be a happy day" he said not knowing why Marshall and I are once again not talking. Unlike last time I knew this was all on me and is my fault that I've probably wrecked everything between us.

" yeah and it was, until I opened my big mouth" I said back sadly, but before he could ask anymore questions I just began walking of knowing I didn't have the Hyde to tell Royce.

I'm actually thrilled that this is the last Detroit concert, I've been trying to avoid Marshall and as much as he tries to talk to me I just act busy knowing I didn't want to have this conversation and deep down knowing space is the only result and I think we both need it just to think some things over.

" now you must be Andrea" I heard from beside me as I'm filling some sheets out making me look up to see who's talking to me. Straight away i see this very friendly woman standing beside me smiling brightly.

" I'm Nicole, Dre's wife" she spoke again holding out her hand to shake.

" oh hey, sorry I'm just a little bit out of it" I apologized knowing my head is in a different world and once again I've found myself thinking of Marshall.

" no worries" she smiled allowing me to loosen up at little around her.

" i just wanted to come and introduce myself, since Marshall doesn't shut up talking about you" she continued bringing up the man thats driving me crazy. But hearing her say this defiantly makes the flattery start reappearing.

" I hope all good things" I joked not really sure if he has told them all about our issues or if he's told them we are even dating at all.

" yeah defiantly, sometimes Dre has to tell him to stop since he just can't help but ramble on and on about you" she smiled again making a boost of confidence sweep through me.

I was about to say something but right when I opened my mouth to speak I see Marshall and Dre mucking around walking down the corridor towards us, it doesn't take long before Dre spots Nicole and Marshall spots me.

" hey baby" he whispered softly kissing Nicole from behind as he wraps his arms around her. Both Marshall and I just kind of stood there awkwardly as Dre and Nicole greeted each other romantically, like the way I wish Marshall and I could greet like.

" Dre this is Andrea" she whispered laughing softly as she told Dre who I am. It's like when my name left her lips Dre couldn't help but smile like a little school boy.

" now you're the famous Andrea Marshall's been crushing on for months now" he joked making Marshall glance up and glare at him knowing Dre's enjoying embarrassing him like this.

" nice to meet you" I friendly said shaking his hand gently, I didn't want to comment on the last part because that's not far on Marshall and I don't want to add to his embarrassment he already seems to be suffering.

Dre and Nicole started asking some questions until we at least started a normal conversation, Marshall was still pretty quite but we had to pretend to get along otherwise I'm pretty sure Dre and Nicole would start turning into another Royce.

As it got later more people started to surround us and become involved in the conversation and within minutes there was a massive group all chattering together, while I just really stood there not saying much at all and getting more uncomfortable by the minute.
