Steve went towards the kitchen until he saw Y/N in the bathroom, just staring at her reflection as a tear went down her cheek.

"Hey. You okay?" he asked.
She jumped slightly and turned to him.
"Yeah. Just thinking," she answered, wiping the tear away.
"I have a guess of who you're thinking about," Steve told her, leaning against the doorframe.
Y/N sighed and said, "It's just that...before we found out your neighbor was an agent of SHIELD, I saw how you two were connecting. That was the same connection Bucky and I had. Even though Peggy was your girl back in World War II, your neighbor could be here. I don't want you to lose someone like I did."
"I appreciate that, but I think your connection with Bucky was more intimate than mine with her," Steve pointed out.
"Yeah, but how it started was the same connection I had with Bucky when it began. Trust me," Y/N told him.
He smiled and walked in. He gave her a hug, which she returned.
"I appreciate it, Y/N. But you don't need to worry about that," he assured, parted from the hug, then explained, "Natasha's already gotten her hands full with trying to find me a date."
"Yeah. And how has that been working out?" she smirked.
He thought about it for a minute then sighed.
"You got me there," Steve admitted.
Y/N laughed then said, "But in all seriousness, I want you to find someone like I did. I won't get over his death for a while, but I know I will with time."
"Will do," he responded then urged, "Now let's go and see what Sam and Natasha want to talk about."
She nodded and they all went down to the kitchen.
