TWO. It was our unchangeable destiny...
Y/N's P.O.V-
The light blinked and turned green. I put my ID back to my pocket and moved for the fingerprint checking. Finally, I was back to the base. Thousands of questions I had uttered about BTS, at last, the department must have found my worth to be able to handle them. Perhaps.
While waiting for the elevator to come down, I sluggishly scrolled on my homepage until one thing caught my attention. My eyebrows quirked, I took a fast glimpse over the article, that had the title- BTS and Their Love for Their Fans.
The news of the minor accident from the fansign event was all over the news. Korean media doesn't love it less to gossip, even exaggerate anything to come to their hands. The highlight was the boys for their kind nature as they helped the pushed fans to get up and procure apology from the guilt to the victims, I and Liza. No face reveal of any of us two was there. A hashtag even went trending on Twitter because of that. Wow. I snuffled reading the whole thing.
The elevator reached the respective floor, I stepped out to the wide hallway. The ceiling embellished with round lights with a simple floral pattern drawn with the baseline, the vanilla colored walls led the way further to the subdivision offices. Getting myself through the path and past the few people, I reached a certain door and knocked. 'May I come in?'
A slight 'mhmm' sound came from inside giving me off the permission. I pushed the door open- 'Momo. is there-'
A pocket knife came flying towards me piercing out of nowhere, my hands moved up in reflex, clapping it down before it could touch its pointy face with my surface.
An exclamation of wow came following from one side of the room. I was stiff in my position, unable to do a calculation and get a quotient from the unexpected incident that just happened.
'Daebak, Y/N ah! You never lack those reflexes. I know now there is another reason why boss likes you so much.' As I looked following the direction of the voice, a frown of disgust itself appeared on my still-confused face, 'I should've known.'
'Hi, honey. Didn't you miss me?' the brown haired boy smirked coquettishly giving off an intent stare, enough for my eyes to squint in reluctance.
Kim Mingyu.
Of all the co-agents of mine, Kim Mingyu was the most annoying. He was tall, he was handsome, he had that innocent face to lure everyone's eyes. On top of everything, he was pure malevolent. 'Playboy' was a word that was structured to signify boys with traits like him, perhaps. There required no definition else to describe how he was. It's fine if you flirt, but he takes it to another level, possessiveness, and persistence. With the goal of being polite to everyone at work, at first I did try to maintain my utmost courtesy but eventually, I knew he wasn't worth it.
'Can I ask what the hell?! How dare you throw the knife at me?' I rowed.
'I was testing. And you proved that you are good.'
'What? Have you gone nuts?' My look didn't signify any surprised expression over itself. Because, if maniacs like him wouldn't do it, then who else?
'Then I would hen there to treat your wounds, Ae-gi. In addition, I would really love to see your wow body stained with blood and curled up in pain.' he licked his lips tilting his head with intent eyes. I shriveled in disgust.
Mingyu faked a cute face, to soon add, 'I never saw you in days. I missed you so much.'
'Cringe. Sadly, I didn't.' I said settling myself down on the sofa. He laughed, 'Can't get off the attitude, huh? That's what I like about you.'
