Chapter 31: Tension

Ian Recandego

"Nahanap n'yo na ba ang mag-ina ko?" I asked the private investigators I hired.

Hindi na kaya ng isang tao lang so I hired ten detectives. But all of them seems useless.

Someone that has power and influence too. We can't track their locations, Sir. But rest assured that I and my team are doing all we can do just to find them."

"Bullshit! Don't give me useless and shitful reasons! I don't need to hear your sorry. I throw away all the files and papers on my desk. I am so upset and angry right now.

Leave!"

"Yes, Sir."

"I said, leave!"

When the Detective was gone already, sakto namang pumasok ang pasaway at maingay kong kaibigan.

"Oh, ang aga-aga, highlood ka kaagad. Nakakapangit 'yan, pre. Kalma ka lang."

"Shut up, Panther! I'm not in the mood to joke around. I massaged my throbbing temple.

"Where the fuck are you, Thiearra?" I gritted my teeth as I said those words.

I wanted to punch Panther's face so bad. This jerk.

"It's none of your business. Just leave if you don't have any good word to say. I stand up from my chair and started walking back and forth.

"Woah, easy there, Ian my friend. I am not here to case nuisance. I am actually here to rely good news to you. But since you're pushing me away and suggested to step back because your business is not mine, then I must go now." Panther's face looks so serious. I don't want to really believe him but something in me is suggesting to hear out Panther.

"Okay, sorry. Now, spill the good news." I said impatiently.

Hindi naman mainitin ang ulo ko but ever since Thiearra went away, naging ganito na ako. Mainipin at mainitin ang ulo.

Panther smirked at me. Basta-basta na lang itong umupo sa sofa.

"Make sure it is really a good news or else, our friendship will be over."

Panther and I been friends for almost five years now. I met him in the US. And from there, we became close.

"Thiearra and your son, Angelo is in Baguio." That statement really caught my attention.

"What? But that's impossible. Isang buwan kaming nag-imbestiga at naghanap doon, we haven't trace or find them there." Imposible talaga.
