You just so happened to be the best friend of the infamous sour wolf. The two of you had been very close for a few months now and he had been the one to introduce you to Cora. If he knew the two of you would start dating he would've reconsidered introducing you two in the first place.
The relationship between you didn't last as long as anyone had thought and when Derek saw how upset the two of you had been since, he made it his mission to get the two of you back together.
He invited you over to his loft which wasn't anything unusual since you did spend most of your time there anyways. What was unusual was when you got there no one was home...Besides Cora.
