Three loud knocks are the cause of Hannah's loud groan and her loud footsteps thudding down the stairs before she pulls open the door, without checking who it is first. Y/N, who is on the other side of the door, falls forward onto Hannah since she was leaning on the once closed door.
"Y/N?" Hannah asks any anger she once had for whoever disrupted her studying is now gone as she helps her best friend stand. Hannah has had a massive crush on Y/N since before they even met, but she always thought that Y/N wasn't interested.
"Hannah... I have to tell you something"
"Are you drunk?"
You can't help but smile once you see the concern in Hannah's eyes but your smile soon vanishes once your head starts spinning again and suddenly you're seeing two very blurry Hannah's.
"Maybe" You answer with a shrug as you allow yourself into her house, something you always do since you're best friends.
You move past Hannah and make your way to her bedroom where you sit down on her bed which has all her books and textbooks open and spread out. "Do you need help studying?" You try your best to ask but it comes out as a slur and you fall straight over right after.
"I think I'll pass, but thanks" She laughs at your drunken state, "Now, what did you want to tell me?"
"Oh" You suddenly find yourself becoming nervous. Even if the alcohol in your system made you confident enough to come over here in the first place you still found it hard to say since Hannah is your best friend and you don't want to ruin anything.
Hannah senses your nerves and places her hand on top of yours which sends your body into over drive with butterflies erupting in your stomach, and does anything but calm you down. "You know you can tell me anything. I won't judge you, I promise" She encourages you and you smile slightly.
"I...Hannah, I'm so in love with you" You finally admit. You close your eyes as you wait for her reaction but the silence is causing you to become more nervous so the alcohol decides for you to keep talking. "I have liked you ever since we met and everyday it just grows and grows. You're such an amazing person and I hate seeing you upset"
You open your mouth to continue but Hannah cuts you off but placing her lips onto yours. Your eyes widen in shock before you quickly kiss back, never wanting the moment to end. Your hands move from either side of her face to her hair, tangling your fingers in her chocolate locks while she pushes you back and climbs onto your lap to straddle you.
You reluctantly pull away to catch your breath as both your foreheads lean against each other and you stare down at her now swollen pink lips. Hannah pulls away from you and you look up to her green eyes, "I love you too, Y/N"
You can't help the massive smile that crosses your face, Hannah's matching yours, as you wrap your arms around her neck and push her down onto her bed so you're on top of her. You lean down and kiss her again and your lips move in sync until Hannah smiles, breaking the kiss.
"I love you so much"
