Luna when you break up with her...

Luna and you have been dating since...well, since forever. You met when she first ran away from her Conclave and you two have been inseparable since then. When you were kidnapped by Roan and Echo, they used Luna as leverage against you which made you realise that you were putting her in danger.
You spent the whole morning freaking out over how to tell the love of your life that you's have to break up, but when you finally saw her it felt like your heart stopped. This was the last thing you ever wanted to do.
"Luna, we have to break up"
Once the words leave your mouth you can see her eyes become glassy as she looks away from you. Your heart breaks even more at the sight in front of you, but if you want her to be safe this is what has to be done.
You lean forward and kiss her on the cheek, "I love you so much, Luna" You whisper as tears start to fall down your cheeks. You look at her once last time before you walk away, leaving your everything behind.
