"Sofia, hey!" you call out to the girl you've been secretly dating for a few months now. she turns around and smiles at you which drops a few seconds later when she sees your ex standing next to you.
"hey"
"uh, this is my ex, y/e/n, and this is Sofia, we work together"
your ex laughs as she places her hand on your shoulder, "well, ex is a loose term..." she trails off as she kisses your cheek.
Sofia looks between the two of you, "i thought you were seeing someone, y/n? isn't that what you told me?" she asks as she pursed her lips.
