You get hurt on a mission...

You grab your weapon of choice and Isabelle raises her eyebrows at you, giving you a look.
"What?" You ask her even though you know exactly what she's going to say, she doesn't want you to come on the mission.
"You're not coming" She states and you roll your eyes at her. You wrap your arms around her stomach, pulling her closer to you as you do what you do best, sucking up to her until she lets you come.
You lean in and softly kiss her pulling away slightly, "Please" You say, but she shakes her head. You kiss her harder this time and move to her neck, her weak spot. She lets out a small groan and you smile against her skin.
"Okay, fine, you can come" She gives in and you pull away with a huge smile.
"Thanks beautiful" You say, pecking her lips one last time and hitting her ass when you walk past her. Isabelle rolls her eyes but smiles at you, nevertheless.
"Whipped" Alec mouths to Izzy.

"What exactly are we looking for?" Clary asks Jace, but you block out their conversation.
You start to zone out and forget about your surroundings. You're suddenly brought back to reality when you're thrown across the room by a demon. Your body slams onto the ground and you slide before hitting a brick wall with a thud. You groan as pain shoots through your body. You instantly get a headache and your back and left arm is throbbing in pain.
Your vision is a little blurry, but you make out Izzy running towards you. She starts talking but you can't make out anything she is saying as black dots appear and you eventually pass out in your girlfriend's arms.
When you wake up you're in Isabelle's bed back at the institute. You try to sit up but fall back down when pain shoots through your body immediately. You hiss and Izzy sits up and looks at you. Your heart ache's at the sight of her. Her hair is tangled and messy while her eyes are red and slightly puffy.
"Izzy -" She cuts you off by wrapping her arms around you and letting out a few sobs. "Hey, babe, I'm okay, it's okay" You say, rubbing her back lightly.
"I t-t-thought you...You" She tries to say between sobs.
You sit up slightly, ignoring the pain in your back, "I know, but I'm fine" You smile lightly at her.
She lets out a sigh before moving away from you and wiping her tears away. "I shouldn't have let you come-"
This time you cut her off, "It's not your fault Isabelle" You say as you place your hand on her cheek and rub it slightly. She leans into your touch and gives you a little smile.
"I'm just glad you're okay" She replies before laying her head down on your chest. You run your hands through her hair and eventually you hear soft snores coming from her as she drifts into a well needed sleep.
