Title: Was It Fate?

Genre: Paranormal/ Fantasy

Cover: Rating 8/10.

Nice cover. I like the little girl looking at the huge book. It sets the right tone for the story, and it gives off a paranormal vibe. What I disliked a tiny bit was the font colour, it disappears kind of in the background of the image and it's hard to catch the name of the book. Other than that, I quite like it. It seems so peaceful but creepy at the same time, and the funny thing is I don't know exactly what gives it the paranormal vibe. Just, maybe the giant book. Overall, the cover is good, but maybe consider changing the font colour so the title pops out more :)

Description: Rating 10/10.

Nothing to poke on here. I loved your description! Gods, spirits, families entwined in each other, stories of things far beyond. Yeah, absolutely nothing dislikeable about it. Mysterious and seductive description. I had high expectations for the book once I read it, I felt a rush of excitement on what journey you will take us, readers, on. Very well done!

Grammar and Punctuation: Rating 10/10

I see that you have written your story with great care. I spotted no grammar mistakes or punctuations. Your story is beautiful, I'll just tell you that now, it's actually amazingly written in many ways. I'll praise it a lot further down. But it's so good I can barely contain my excitement.

Characters: Rating 10/10

This. Is. Epic. The characters are all amazing. The way you started the story with an introduction by death, it just blew me away. Such exciting way to lure readers in. I knew it was going to be good as soon as I read the first two sentences and the last ones that warn us to keep going at our own risk. And then you have profiles for your characters explaining what Paranormal 'race' or not they belong too. I loved that factor. Half- Demon, the 10-year-old girl had such an interesting character. She seemed like a very mature child, yet not creepy. You have a clear distinct voice to your characters which in the story development gives us an option to relate to some, to love and to hate others. It's a variety needed in a good author, and you got it.

Plot: Rating 10/10

I'm only supposed to read three chapters for the review. So, what exactly the plot is simply put, I don't know. But I do know that it's a story told by Death, and all those characters somehow intwine in that story. You switch POV. which makes an excellent path to diving the story and then tie all loose knots together to complete it. Plus, it's a genius way to form 'the bigger picture' piece by piece. What I don't know is how they all will relate and come into the story. Why I have given 10/10 is because it's simply worth the time to read and find out everything. You have a very good thing going here. A paranormal thrill is guaranteed.

Overall thoughts and Advice:

My advice is that your story is worth a lot more attention, so keep putting it out there. Do reads for reads, join book clubs, enter awards, and get the recognition your story truly deserves. I know of another Paranormal story here on Wp kind of similar to yours, just in the way it switches POV. but the plot is different, and it blew up to be quite big here on Wp. And I think you have what it takes too in the Paranormal genre. I think your writing is close to flawless, and your way of thinking and introducing a story is very good, just keep doing what you're doing and believe in the story,  it's amazing. PS. I'm very sorry it took me longer than anticipated to do this review, with the upcoming Wonderland awards I've got sidetracked. Hope you entered there btw. Best of luck to you further!
