I'm sorry (Fairy Tail Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

'Team Natsu' are currently on a job looking for a mysterious giant lurking around in the middle of a forest.

The giant has been spotted heading towards the Shirotsume town

"Where the hell is it, we have been walking for hours!" Natsu yelled because he was tired of walking.

"Stop complaining flame brain"

"Who said I was complaining!"

"I did obviously"

"You wanna go stripper!"

"Bring it!"

"Are you boys arguing?!" said the Requip Mage as she walked towards them.

"No ma'am!" They said at the same time and grew silent.

Lucy giggled because they were acting like idiots.

"I have to admit, we have been walking forever without a trace of it, not a foot print, no smell" Erza said looking up at the sky.

All of a sudden, the wind picked up making the trees sway.

It was blowing so bad, it made Lucy step backwards into Natsu's chest

He put his arms around her stomach so she wouldn't blow away.

"Don't worry, I got ya" he said.

Lucy's face got really red.

After 5 minutes it stopped blowing and it went back to regular weather.

"That was weird" said Gray.

Natsu didn't notice he was still holding Lucy.

"Oh sorry" he let go of her and turned his face so no one could see his faint blush.

"We should split up, Lucy go with Natsu I'll go with Gray. We'll go West you go East" said Erza.

They nodded and turned their separate ways.

"Oh and Natsu, don't do anything stupid" she said before grabbing the back of Gray's collar and dragging him.

NATSU&LUCY'S POV

"It's so hot!" Lucy said fanning herself with her hand as sweat poured down her face.

They kept walking and walking, and still haven't found any evidence of where it could be.

They walked side by side looking in any way possible for the any evidence of the mysterious giant.

Their hands touched which made them reject their hands back and blush.

Natsu thought he saw something ahead so he ran ahead quickly.

"I'll be right back!" He yelled as he ran forward.

"Oka-" Something reached out and wrapped around Lucy's ankle and pulled making her slam down on the hard dirt.

It slowly started dragging her across the forest floor.

She looked down and it looked like a vine from a plant.

She got out her keys but at the force it was pulling her, she dropped them on accident.

"NATSU!" she yelled at the top of her lungs making the birds in the trees fly away.

NATSU'S POV

He was just checking out a track he saw, which ended up being just a bears track, when he heard Lucy scream his name.

He quickly turned his head and ran to the direction where Lucy was suppose to be, but she wasn't there.

He started running the direction of her scent.

He kept running until he saw something shiny on the ground.

He looked down to see what it was.

It was Lucy's Keys.

His eyes widened as he picked them up and kept running.

"LUCY! WHERE ARE YOU!" He yelled out.

"RIGHT HERE" He heard her voice and turned and saw she had her arms wrapped around a tree while a vine plant? Was trying to pull her in the distance.

"I'm coming Lucy don't let go!" He started to run towards her.

"Natsu, I can't hold on any longer! My ankle..it hurts!" She said as her grip loosened a little.

It seemed the plant was coming out of a big hole in the ground.

"Here Grab my hand" he was almost there.

She let go of the tree with one hand and held it out.

She had one eye closed and her teeth were clenched from the pain.

Natsu held out his hand, but the vine tugged really hard, making Lucy scrape her hands on the tree bark and let go.

"NATSU!" she yelled as she got dragged away and pulled into the hole in the ground.

Natsu ran to the hole but something weird happened.

The hole filled up by a giant plant

"GOD DAMN" he yelled as he started hitting the plant but nothing happened but he still began hitting it because he couldn't give up on Lucy.

"I'm coming Lucy"
