*Two months after the letter*
To my dearest uncles,
Sorry I'm just now responding. I have just settled in a new spot for a few weeks or maybe months. I'm glad to here Cherry is doing well. I can't believe she's having a baby. I'm sure the baby will be beautiful like her. I'm no longer in Montana. The wind took me up again. I'm actually in Hawaii right now. I came on a boat last week with Sunshine's brother. I'm working in Kauai. It's extraordinary here. I'm actually teaching surfing lessons. I love it here, but I don't plan on spending the rest of my life here. I'm still not ready to settle down. You would love scuba diving Sodapop. The fish and sea turtles are absolutely beautiful. I spent the entire evening on the beach yesterday. The sunsets here are something I can't explain, Ponyboy. You would both love it here. I'm happy to hear you enjoy your wedding gift Sodapop. The painting has a beautiful story behind it. I'll save it for a rainy day when I return home. I'm not sure when that will be however. The wind is still taking me in different directions. So Ponyboy I hear you're seeing someone? That's fantastic. Maybe you too will be receiving a painting soon? I sure hope so. I sent this box along with my letter. Inside is blanket that I got from a village in Montana. It may not be cold here in Hawaii, but I know Decembers in Tulsa can be brutal at times. I hope you both are as happy as me. Stay safe and remember I love you.
