~Zoe Murphy's POV~
The school bell rang as our last class dismissed. I stood up, meeting up with Alana Beck and Sabrina Patel, my friends, after class. The three of us walked down to the main hallway that was lined with lockers.
I spotted my brother talking to Evan once again. "Do you think Connor and Evan might have a thing going on? They've been hanging out an awful lot today," Sab brought to my attention. "How so?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow. "Well, I did see them go into the bathroom together, and they've been talking a lot in between classes," Sab replied, stating her evidence.
Alana added in, "While I was doing my daily sweep of the school to make sure there were no trespassers, I saw them behind the school in the plaza sitting at one of the tables. They were skipping class, but I didn't think much of it at the time." I thought for a moment, "No, they most likely don't have anything going on. I would know. Besides, nobody gets in a relationship that quickly."
"True," Sab shrugged. "You should try to get them together. That would be so cute," Alana giggled. "Alana, your fangirl side is showing," Sab laughed a little. I looked at Alana, "Try to get them together? You mean, like a matchmaker?" "Yeah, a matchmaker! I would honestly love to see them together," she nodded.
"I ship it." Sab joined in, once again laughing. I said my goodbyes as us three split. I walked up to Connor and Evan. "Con, if you want a ride, we have to get going. Come or else I'll just leave you here," I said in a blunt tone, interrupting their conversation.
Connor nodded. "Okay. I'll text you or something, Hansen." he winked, getting a subtle smile out of the blonde. Connor followed me to the car as we stepped in. I started the engine, attempting to start a conversation with my older brother.
"You're not yelling at me that you're going to kill me for no reason. Is something wrong?" I asked, a little suspicious. "Nah, I guess I'm just in a good mood," he smiled, looking out the window. "Holy shit, you never smile, and you're never in a good mood. Who the fuck are you and what did you do with my brother?" I pressed, surprised.
"Oh shush, dumbo. I was just thinking of something," he rolled his eyes as I smirked. "Something or.... someone?" I asked in an evil tone. "Pfft, you wish," he chuckled darkly, looking down at me. I rolled my eyes in return. "Admit it, you are so gay for Evan," I said, getting straight to the point.
"Keep dreaming, sis," he smirked at me. I chuckled, "You aren't denying it~" "Shush," he responded, looking out the window again as if he were daydreaming. We arrived home, both of us stepping out of the car and walking into the house. I immediately pulled out my phone as soon as I got into my room.
I dialed Evan's number and called him.
"Heyyyyy, Ev~~~~~~~~~~~"
"Zoe?"
"Youuu know it~~~~"
"Do you need something?"
"Kinda. I was wondering what your sexuality is?~~"
"I'm straight, Zo. I'm pretty sure,"
"Ya sureeeeeeeeeee????"
"Yes, Zo,"
"Okie. Hey, are you going anywhere today?"
"I'm thinking about going to the library around six o'clock, why do you ask?"
"Just wondering. I gotta go, Ev. I'll talk to you later, bro,"
"Um okay,"
I pressed the 'end call' button, smirking a bit. "HEY CON, EVAN'S GONNA BE AT THE LIBRARY AT SIX. YA HEAR???!? EVAN. THE ONE WHO YOU'RE GAY FOR!" I shouted, hearing a groan from the other room.
"Okay, Zoe! I was thinking of going, too!"
((Sorry for such a short chapter, I got lazy and I didn't know where to end it.))
