I returned home, noticing Connor's car wasn't there. He either went to drop Evan off, or went to meet with Jared. I pulled out my phone, texting Jared.
hotdamnitszoe: Hey, Jare, is Connor supposed to meet you right about now?
ItsJaredKleinmanBitch: Yeah, I think he's on his way
hotdamnitszoe: Still sticking to the plan, eh?
ItsJaredKleinmanBitch: Of course
hotdamnitszoe: Jare, I know this is hard on you, you don't even have to do this
ItsJaredKleinmanBitch: No, I've seen how happy Evan and Connor are together. I'm sure we could make them a couple
hotdamnitszoe: But Jared...
ItsJaredKleinmanBitch: Zoe, don't worry about me. I'll be fine
hotdamnitszoe: But I know you aren't. You wouldn't be
hotdamnitszoe: You've had this crush on Evan for so long, how am I supposed to go along with the plan if you won't be happy?
ItsJaredKleinmanBitch: Evan will be happy. So will Connor, it's pretty simple. Don't worry about me, please
hotdamnitszoe: Alright, but I'm here for you
ItsJaredKleinmanBitch: I know
I put away my phone, taking a deep breath. I really want Connor to be happy, but how am I supposed to deal with my best friend being unhappy? I know that Jared may like another person, but that isn't the case. I put up the groceries, walking up the stairs, going to my room.
Sab, Alana, Jared, and I had a plan to get Connor and Evan together. The reason Jared is meeting up with Connor is to ask him if he needed help winning him over. I told Jared about Connor's little crush, and he took it pretty well. My phone buzzed wildly out of nowhere as I went to answer it.
Smartie: Jared told me he's meeting up with Connor?
OverlyDramaticArtist: Yeah, he told me the same thing
Smartie: Wtf is your name
OverlyDramaticArtist: Dammit. I bet ya ten bucks it was Jared again
Smartie: I wouldn't be surprised

Smartie: Hey! How's Connor?
hotdamnitszoe: He's doing well. Jared agreed to tell me what happens
