Now that Connor's and my secret of being a couple was out to Connor's parents, we had to tell my mom.  The next step would be having a public relationship that we were comfortable with.  That is, if Connor approved.  I was in my room, Connor sitting beside me on my bed as we discussed how this would go.

I knew that my mom was extremely accepting, so why did I feel so nervous?  Connor probably realized me zoning out because I felt his hand grip mine in a gentle manner.  I turned to him, unaware of the worried look on my own face.  He frowned, pulling me into a hug.

"It'll be alright, babe.  Tell me when you're ready, alright?" he asked in a soft voice.  I hummed a brief, 'Mkay.'  We pulled away and I took a breath, nodding to signal that I was ready.  He smiled, standing up and bringing me with him.

He let me walk down the hallway first, watching me grab my mom's attention.  My mom looked up from her book, smiling.  "Hey, boys.  Did you need something?" she inquired in a sweet voice.  I immediately felt my words get caught up in my throat as I bit my lip, "W-Well, I wanted to tell y-you something..."

She tilted her head in a questioning manner as I bit down harder on my bottom lip, tasting a bit of blood.  I felt Connor lay his hand on my shoulder, not wanting to show too much affection just yet.  I continued, "I-I'm bi."  I started out softly and felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes, thinking she wouldn't accept me.

She just gave another warm smile, chuckling a bit, "Me too.  Guess it runs in the family, huh?"  I immediately snapped my head up to look at her, surprised and confused out of my mind.  "Was there anything else you needed to tell me?" she asked, knowing that I wanted to say something else.

I inhaled, "W-Well, I have a b-boyfriend.  A-And he's standing right here."  I gestured to Connor, feeling Connor trail his hand down my arm, taking my hand and intertwining our fingers.  My mom smiled even brighter, if that was possible.  Her eyes lit up with joy and she stood up, hugging the both of us.

"I'm so happy for the two of you.  I'm so glad you told me, Evan.  It takes a lot of gut.  Now get out of my house," she said sternly.  I pulled away from the hug, raising an eyebrow, kinda hurt.  She laughed, "You two should see the look on your faces.  Get out and go somewhere while I organize a coming out party!  Who all have you told?"

Connor chuckled, "Zoe Murphy, my parents, Jared Kleinman, Alana Beck, Sabrina Patel, and I think that's it."  My mother giggled, pulling out her phone and snapping a picture of Connor and I, "You two make a great couple.  Two handsome young men.  Zoe has about a million pictures of you two, I assume?"

Connor and I nodded in sync, Connor sighing heavily.  My mom just chuckled a bit, "I'm gonna plan the party.  You two go out and do something fun!"  I started to cry, hugging my mom, "Thank you.  Thank you so much for being accepting."  She hugged back, Connor soon joining in.  This should be fun.

~Time skip~

I walked into my house after getting a text from my mother that she was done with the everything.  My eyes widened when I saw each wall covered inch by inch in bisexual pride banners.  Zoe, Jared, Alana, and Sab were already there.  Zoe hugged Connor as Jared hugged me.

"I'm so proud of you," Jared smiled, pulling away as I noticed the tears in his eyes.  Was he.... crying?  I hugged him again, "I know, I know."  The shorter boy gripped the back of my shirt, sobbing into the fabric.  I tightened my grasp on him, allowing him to cry it out.

We stayed in that position for awhile before he pulled away, taking off his glasses and wiping his eyes.  He smiled, "I'm just... really proud of you, Evan."  I smiled back, "I know."  I heard a slap sound from beside me and turned to see Zoe slap Connor in the face and pull him down by his shirt to tell him something.

"Connor Dennis Murphy, if you break Evan's heart, I swear to the holy gods that you will be murdered by yours truly and have your ashes spread among that dreaded creek you despise from the bottom of your heart." she threatened, Connor backing up a bit.  "Okay, I won't hurt him," he assured.

Jared grinned, "You don't know how lucky you are to have a sweet boy like Evan, Connor."  Connor chuckled a bit, "Yeah, I know."  Jared walked over to Alana, starting a conversation with her.  I bet they'd be happy with one another if they were together.  My mom was talking to Sab, so everyone was basically occupied.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and I turned around to see Connor.  "Hey, Con." I smiled.  He returned the subtle smile, "Hey, Ev."  He chuckled, letting go of me and grabbing my hand.  "Well, let's make this last.  Are you happy?" he questioned, a concerned look on his face.  I tried to see if I could trigger his feelings into my body.

He was worried.  I gave a look, "Con, why are you worried?"  He shrugged, "I want you to be happy, and I don't think you're happy with me."  I frowned, "Connor, I'm more than happy with you.  Trust me."

He smiled again, kissing me softly.  "Well, let's get this party started."
