Dust growled lowly as a group of five guards, guided' him through the narrow halls of the white building that was known as the asylum. He had been muzzled and handcuffed for the safety of those around him, so he couldn't protest; He was only able to follow the instructions of the guards that were restraining him.
Finally, after much walking, they reached a cell with one occupant - a skeleton with a blood red eye light, and a large crack in his bone that split his skull unevenly.
The guards shoved Dust into the cell roughly after removing the restraints, then locked the room again, leaving quickly as he was recollecting his thoughts.
The skeleton stared curiously at Dust from across the room, with his eye glowing intensely, as if to challenge Dust. Dust noticed that the skeleton was wearing a muzzle as well, and as Dust looked closely, Dust noticed bite marks on the skeleton' s wrists, ankles, and his neck. As Dust began to wonder how this skeleton could bite his own neck, the skeleton stood and began to approach.
The red-eyed skeleton has a curious look, and his eye stared intently at Dust.
Dust cocked his head to the side, gazing at the other curiously, a slight smile twitching at the corners of his mouth.
'He seems interesting,' he thought, holding his ground as the skeleton approached.
The other skeleton seemed surprised at Dust' s courage toward him, and the skeleton stood a hand-length away, staring at Dust' s eyes. Dust looked curiously around the room, seeing what the skeleton would do if ignored. He was slightly surprised.
The cell has two matresses, one on either side of the room. The cell also contained a tiny barred window. However, Dust was most interested in this skeleton' s matress. It had broken crayons sprawled all around it, and on the wall next to it, creepy and disturbing images, and one word constantly written all around that wall. HORROR.
Dust's gaze swept over the room, then he grinned at the other, drumming his fingers against his side in an uneven pattern, completely unfazed by the closeness.
"Nice place ya've got here," he commented, breaking the previous silence between the two.
Horror stared up at Dust, looking surprised.
"Ummm. Why aren't you scared? Usually the guards are pretty scared, and they have their weapons out and everything."
Horror looked at Dust with murderous curiosity, and he began scratched at his wrist while waiting for a reply.
Dust giggled.
"We're all of us insane here, remember? Why waste time on fear?" he responded almost gleefully, a less than sane smile glued to his face.
"Besides," he continued, lacing his fingers together behind his back as he walked slowly and crookedly towards the mattress that had broken pieces of crayon scattered across it, sitting down on it promptly, though making sure not to touch any of the crayons. "It's not as if you've attempted to hurt me in any way, as of yet."
Horror stayed put, but stared calmly, almost too calmly at Dust.
"So you're part of the asylum? And not it's guard? Oh. To be honest, I kinda figured. As for me not hurting you..."
Horror took a menacing step toward Dust, his eye glowing a boldy killer red.
"Don't screw up...And you MAY not get hurt. No promises though..."
Horror then fixed his attention to a broken black crayon lying next to Dust. Horror picked it up, and began a new drawing on Dust' s wall, above his matress.
