*Flashback*

Horror clawed at his knees in pain, but refused to make any sounds. After the wound was bandaged, Horror stood up and once again began on his way, before hesitating to look back at Dust.

"Thanks. Anyways, are you coming?!" Horror said, turning away toward the looming dark hall ahead.

*Flashback End*

Dust hesitated, but nodded, standing up and following after Horror, guilt seeping through the cracks in his mind, filling him completely.

'Why do I feel guilty...? What's happening to me?' he thought anxiously.

He started clutching at his right wrist, but that was the only outward sign of any emotions.

"I'm coming," he confirmed softly, bowing his head slightly as he walked so that the other couldn't see the pain in his eyes.

Horror began forward, as if he was never wounded. Even though his attention was on the path ahead, Horror' s eye went to Dust.

"You are in pain. Why?" Horror calmly asked, still moving forward

'He's good at reading people. Great. Just great,' he thought, looking away from Horror.

"I-It's nothing," he said quickly, not wanting the other to think that he was weak, caring about Horror's opinion for some unknown reason.

'You're being stupid. Snap out of it. You aren't supposed to care, you're insane, remember..?' he told himself dully, letting his gaze drop to his feet. 'Idiot.'

Horror noticed Dust' s self conflict, but said nothing. Horror had more important things to worry about.

The two were coming up upon a menacingly huge door, labeled with the words, 'Lab 1A.' Horror was trying not to let any sweat drip off his face, staring up nervously at the bold letters from down below.

(Yes, Horror can sweat. SCREW LOGIC!!!)

Dust relaxed when Horror didn't say anything more, falling silent.

He tilted his head to the side slightly when Horror started sweating, wondering what about the lab made him so uncomfortable, but keeping his mouth shut, marking it off as a subject that an idiot such as himself shouldn't touch, for fear of making something worse.

Horror looked over to Dust, showing barely any fear. Yet, Horror' s eyes said otherwise. Horror looked intensely at Dust.

"Dust. If you see ANYONE behind this door...kill them. No matter who they are, what they look like. KILL THEM. We'll both die if you or I hesitates. I've done it once...You can't." Horror stated, looking at Dust.

"I'm no sentimental type. All that mush is pure crap to me. But bad things lie here." Horror calmly said.

Dust tilted his head to the side slightly.

"Huh. I don't remember giving you my name. Curious," he said absently, before drawing the gun from his pocket.

"Either way, you can count on me," he said, throwing Horror a small grin, his voice soft and reassuring as he flipped the gun in his hand.

Horror nodded, looking satisfied as he turned to the door.

"I was told about you from before you got here. The drugs lab said that for your safety, I had to be 'prepared.' And by prepared, it meant that they'd drug me through the roof. I couldn't feel anything for days until you arrived." Horror calmly stated, facing toward Dust.

"And one more thing..." Horror quietly growled, seeming randomly angry at everything. "Any...fears?" Horror asked, his eye glowing intensely.

Dust frowned at the information, feeling more guilt pile on top of him.
