Should I do recaps still?
A second passed, before Sci slowly entered the room, looking slightly concerned. "Um, Dust?"
Dust glanced up, forcing the sadness off of his face.
"Yeah..?" he responded, his voice small.
"Is Lea...Ok?" He asked, looking worriedly at Dust.
I don't... I don't know," he said quietly, his eyes pained. "She... Went for the bathroom."
"I know. She...doesn't sound very ok in there..." Sci murmured, looking nervously at Dust.
Dust stood immediately, clearly worried as he moved towards the bathroom.
Sci followed, looking overly nervous and worried.
Dust soon reached the bathroom door, hesitating for a moment, then knocking slowly.
"You okay in there, Lea?" he called gently.
A small gasp was heard from behind the door, followed by the sound of Lea slowly standing up. "Yeah...I'm f-fine." She mumbled.
Dust hesitated.
"Really?" he asked skeptically.
"Y...yeah." She quietly responded.
"...you don't sound it, sweetie," he said softly, anxious and feeling hopelessly useless.
"I..." Lea went quiet.
Sci looked over at Dust, before gently pointing to the kitchen and whispering, "there's a key in the kitchen. Tell her we're going to come in, okay?"
Dust nodded.
"We're going to come in, okay..?" Dust called gently.
"Wait, no! Please don't..." Lea quietly whimpered, and sickening coughing, followed by small whimpering came.
Dust's eyes widened in alarm and worry.
"Lea?" he exclaimed. "What's wrong? What's happening?"
Sci ran over, looking at Dust, getting noticeably more worried. He then rubbed Dust's back, and knocked on the door lightly. "Ok Lea. I'm going to come in and check on you."
Sci looked at Dust, "Give me a sec." Before sliding quickly into the room.
Dust waited outside the door as Sci had asked him to, anxiety eating away at him, as well as guilt, his arms wrapped around himself tightly as he paced backwards and forwards.
Light noises, soft talking from Sci, and suddenly, a loud thud of the door.
Sci could be heard talking in a loud, panicked voice, and Lea could be heard crying quietly.
Dust hesitated for a moment, then tried the door, his anxiousness getting the better of him.
The door opened easily, as Sci fell out onto Dust as if on cue, with a hard thud.
Dust managed to catch Sci, helping him to stand, immediately checking to see if the other was okay.
Lea was backed up against the shower wall, holding her head down with her hands. A dark red aura surrounded her, lashing threateningly at any who approached.
"Lea..." Dust said gently, gazing up at the smaller, his eyes full of worry. "Lea, it's okay, just... Just try to calm down..."
Lea mumbled soft crying whispers, shivering and not looking up at Dust or Sci. The magic aura around her lessened slightly.
Red, however, had come over to see what going on, and tensed up at seeing Sci and Dust with Lea. "What the fuck happened?!"
Dust glanced towards Red, then back to Lea, his expression turning more worried.
"I don't know," he responded quietly.
Red nodded, carefully advancing to stand by Dust. "Is she ok?" He asked, gazing gently at Lea with worry.
"I don't know..." he said again, sadly, his gentle, anxious gaze still fixed on Lea.
Red looked from Dust to Lea, before lightly nudging Dust forward. "Go to her, I don't think she'll hurt you. I've gotta stay back though."
Red went over to Sci, and both moved back.
Dust moved forward with a small nod, approaching Lea, his face showing how worried he was for the other.
Lea looked slightly up at Dust, a small intensely red glow coming from her eyes, as she sensed his aura. "No. pLEasE. STay AwaY FRoM mE..." She crying, her voice soundly like the doctor's, slightly.
Dust stopped his advance, his worry only growing.
"Lea... Sweetheart, it's okay... It's okay, just try calm down, okay?"
"I'M tRYiNg...I'm tRyinG..." She watched Dust nervously, crying. "I'm SoRRy." She repeated the word over and over.
"It's okay," Dust repeated gently, hesitating, then taking a small step closer. "It's okay...."
"NOo! PlEASe! STaY BacK! i DoN't WanT TO hurT yOu!" Lea cried, crawling further back against the wall, her aura doubling in strength.
Dust halted, nodding.
"Okay, okay..." he said quickly, not wanting to upset her further.
Red stepped over to Dust, carefully pulling him back as Lea watched fearfully. "Bud, we need to let her calm herself down..."
Dust nodded reluctantly, his expression heavy with a sense of responsibilty and anxiety.
"Yeah, you're right, I know..."
Red hesitated, before pulling Dust out of the room and closing the door. He then led Dust to the living room, sitting him down. "You ok?"
Dust shook his head slightly, then caught himself, nodding instead.
"Yeah, I'm fine," he said quickly, his eyes sad and hopeless.
"Don't lie." Red stated.
Dust looked away, wincing slightly.
"I'm okay..." he said unconvincingly.
"I said, DON'T LIE." And with that, Red gently, yet with a firm grip, grabbed Dust by the shoulders, "I know a lie when I hear it. So answer me properly. Please. Are you ok. If no, then how can I help?"
Dust hesitated, then gave a small shake of his head.
"...No, and... I don't know..." he whispered brokenly.
"Ok. Well, I'm going to make some dinner for us all. We can go check up on Lea when dinner is ready, ok?" Red asked.
Dust nodded.
"Yeah, ok," he said softly, looking down slightly. "I'll help."
Red nodded, going over to the kitchen to begin dinner.
Dust followed behind him, fiddling with the hem of his jacket as he did so.
<After dinner is made>
Less than thirty minutes later, dinner was ready, and set at the table. Red seemed proud.
Dust's mind was elsewhere, and he kept glancing anxiously in the direction of the bathroom.
Red looked at Dust, realizing what he meant. "Go check on her, and I'll call Sci over to the food."
Dust nodded, walking off to the bathroom quickly, soon reaching the door. He paused for a moment, then pushed it open.
