Dust stepped further into the room, pushing away the curtains tentatively.

Sadly, it over

There, lay Horror. The skeleton was bloody and beaten, and bone marrow gashed out of a stab wound in his side. But, he was there. Alive. Unconscious, hurt, but alive.

Dust immediately pressed his hands to the wound, putting a gentle, careful pressure onto it in an effort to keep Horror's blood in his body as he begun healing the other.

"Horror..." he whispered weakly, tears building in his sockets as he shifted the other onto his lap, pouring as much of himself as he was able to into the healing.

Horror didn't even move, his wounds not healing for some terrifying reason. His body was freezing cold, lacking any heat. However, luckily the slow beat of Horror's soul was hearable.

Dust took of his jacket, carefully wrapping it around Horror's limp body, putting a careful pressure onto the stab wound, tears spilling down his face as he continued to desperately try and heal the other,

"Horror, stay alive... Please, wake up, say something, anything, please..." he pleaded, crying softly, trembling.

The wounds seemed to be unhealable, and Horror stayed limp in Dust's arms.

Dust buried his face in Horror's chest, sobbing quietly, his seemingly useless healing magic still pouring from his hands ceaselessly.

Horror's eyes fluttered slightly, and he opened them slowly, exhausted. He felt something crouching him, and half expected it to be the doctor. He didn't think it would be his love, crying over him.

Dust didn't even realize that Horror had woken, his mind fully focused on trying to heal the other... Or rather, his failing attempts of doing so.

Horror felt unable to move, his arms heavy and his side's burning. Perhaps from the practically exposed stab wound. Memories returned Horror, and he shivered.

Dust noticed the shiver immediately, and he turned his gaze to Horror's face.

"Horror..." he breathed brokenly, clutching the other slightly closer, tears streaming down his face.

Horror felt his eyes go blurry with tears, and his chest got tight. He always hated when he cried, but now, how could he help it?

Dust gently cupped Horror's face in one of his hands, his tears falling faster as he clung to the other.

"H-Horror..." he whispered, leaning closer to him, pressing his mouth against the other's gently, then pulling away, only crying worse now.

'Horror... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry...'

Horror hated himself. He hated hurting and scaring Dust like this. He hated not being able to even FUCKING respond. How, how could he do this to Dust? To his love?!

Dust held Horror's face in his hand gently, sobbing quietly, trembling. Healing magic was still spilling weakly from his fingers, even though he knew it was making no difference.

"I'm sorry..." he whispered, apologising again and again, knowing he could never make up for what he'd done, never make up for what he let happen.

Horror looked up at Dust through his empty eyes, tears starting to come. He then did all he could think to demo, he let his rose-red eye light glow.

Dust smiled sadly through his tears, still thinking that the other's eye light was the most gorgeous thing in all of the world.

"You're so beautiful, Horror... I love you... I love you, but I... But I let you get hurt. I let him hurt you... I'm so sorry, I... I'm so sorry," he whispered, his voice breathy and broken.
