It's been awhile, hasn't it?~
"Oh?! Oh......" She responded, looking down now. "Well, how can I help you hon...?"
Dust swallowed nervously, fiddling with his shirt slightly.
"um... This was me kind of going out on a whim, but... I... Wanted to visit this place once more before I um... Move out of the country. Deussbag, he... Spent so much time here, y'know..? I.......... Do you know if his old apartment is being rented out..? And if it isn't, would it be okay for me to visit there for a while..? Only if it's okay though, I'll... leave if it isn't..." he rambled, hoping against hopes that that would be okay, looking as pitiful as he could.
"Oh? No, the estate is still vacant. Go ahead hon, be my guest! My prayers go out to you." She said, nodding to Dust politely.
Dust slumped slightly with relief, giving a tiny smile.
"Thank you so much," he said gratefully, nodding back, then turning to where he remembered the elevator was.
Lea walked passed Dust and the counter calmly, the lady eying her but not saying anything. Lea walked passed the elevator, and towards the stairs.
Dust followed Lea after waving to the lady awkwardly, hurrying to catch up to her.
The lady gave an awkward response smile, and Lea looked to Dust, before dashing up the first flight of steps.
Dust sighed softly at the awkwardness of the farewell, following the smaller up the stairs quickly.
Lea continued up the flight, until she reached the third floor and she slowed, and walked into the hallway.
Dust hurried to catch up, soon reaching the kid's side.
"Been here much before?" he asked softly, tilting his head to the side slightly.
She nodded slowly, looking down and away.
Dust felt slightly guilty for bringing it up, seeing that it was a sensitive topic, saying a quiet apology.
Lea could see that Dust seemed nervous, and she smiled up slightly. "It's ok daddy. I just, this place..." She looked down, thinking.
Dust took the smaller's hand in his gently.
"We can leave if you're uncomfortable," he said quietly.
"No. Mommy says come here, and that's what we're doing. No bad Mommy and Daddy memories will stop me." Lea said.
Dust gave a small nod.
"Okay," he said quietly, growing curious but staying quiet.
Lea looked at Dust, seeing his curiosity. "I'll tell you later." She responded.
Dust nodded, smiling softly.
"Okay," he said again.
Lea turned to stop at the eerily happy-looking door of the deceased doctor, shivering. She then grabbed the key from under the mat.
Dust waited quietly, his thoughts centered around Horror.
Lea opened the door almost automatically, as if she'd done it a million times.
Dust followed Lea inside, shivering lightly at the eerie memories of the place.
Lea went in, going towards the bedroom and bathroom hallway. She looked back to Dust, noticing his hesitation towards the bathroom.
Dust gazed at the entrance to the bathroom warily, but soon followed the child into it, sighing quietly.
Lea stared at the bathtub, blood covering the curtains. She prayed that whatever was inside was useful, and that she wouldn't just 've reopening wounds.
