(Omg. So guys. I messed up. I have two chapter 11s, when one should be Chapter 12 actually. So really, this is actually Chapter 16. I'm dumb.)

Recap

"Hi, Sci," Dust said quickly, his gaze fixed on the other.

'Another Sans?' he thought curiously. 'Is he working here? Is he going to hurt me..?'

Recap End

Sci stared at Dust in aw, taking a step closer. Suddenly, he was right there, no less than a foot away. He circled Dust in curiosity, inspecting and writing down his findings.

"Um so..." he hesitantly began, "You seem kind of nervous around me. Are you ok? I understand that you don't trust this place, nor me. However, I'll have to be inspecting you now. I'm going to remove those restraints now. If ya don't mind, please don't run or attack me. I've got a SKELETON of things I've got to do, so please don't fight me. TIBIA homest, you could easily beat me. Heh..."

Dust gave a small, tight smile, nodding, intentionally avoiding the question 'are you ok?'

"Go ahead, I suppose," he said reluctantly, sighing quietly, too mentally exhausted to make any puns.

'It's not like I'll stop it. I don't want Horror to get hurt because of me,' Dust thought bitterly, looking away, his eye sockets shadowed.

The skeleton gently unlocked Dust's painfully tight restraints, and gently gestured for him to stand up.

"I'm going to be checking you, examining your soul, treating any wounds, and asking a few questions. Though...only if it's ok with you." Sci looked slightly hesitant.

Dust hesitated, but nodded again, standing up unsteadily, but relaxing slightly because of how gentle the other seemed.

"It's ok with me," Dust said softly, giving a small, reassuring smile.

'He doesn't seem as if he'll hurt me... I'll trust him, for now at least.'

Sci nodded happily, and began to examine Dust thoroughly. He examined Dust's ribs, eyes, head, arms, legs, and his one damaged shoulder. (from when Dust was shot, ya know, earlier?)

"Um, Dust. You have marks , cuts, cracks everywhere. Your eyes look tired and sad too. ARE YOU OK?"

Dust bit his figurative lip.

"I'm fine," he insisted quietly, not meeting Sci's gaze, not even looking at him.

'I'm fine.'

Sci shook his head, looking sad. "I know that's not true. What did Dr. Duessbag do to you?"

Sci continued to look over Dust as he waited patiently for Dust to answer.

Dust wrapped his arms around himself tightly, averting his gaze.

"What didn't he do?" Dust whispered brokenly, shaking lightly.

'I'm so weak... I couldn't stop it... I couldn't stop anything...'

Sci looked up at Dust, looking worried and sadder than before. "Oh..." was all he managed to say.

Sci then lifted up Dust's shirt, to reveal his glowing soul. "May I?" Sci asked, gesturing to the soul.

Dust nodded emptily, still shaking lightly.

"Yeah," he whispered, his eyes pained. "...sorry..."

"No need to be."

Sci calmly reached passed Dust's ribs, pulling out the soul with extreme care. Sci's fingers on the soul, caused Dust's back to tingle. Sci examined the soul with the utmost care, nodding and taking notes.

Dust fell silent with another nod, looking down, his eye sockets dark as Sci examined him.

Sci continued for a moment more, and then returned the soul to its rightful owner.

"Your soul seems kind of dim too. Plus your health is really low. I'm going to ask some questions, and then we'll go to my lab. I have a friend you can meet. Ok?"

Dust nodded again.

"Okay," he said quietly, gazing down at the ground. "Ask away."

"Ok, my first question. You were stationed with Dr. Duessbag. And not, he move you here, to my quadrant. But, what did he do to you? I need to know, for your health."

"Your quadrant..? What about Ho-" Dust cut himself off, shaking violently from shock and realisation, his eye sockets widening, his thoughts fragmented.

'Horror. He's...'

"What? Who's Horror? Is he a patient? If he's one of Dr. Duessbag's patients, then I wouldn't know him. All I know is that the doctor came to me with you, and said that you'd be moved to my quadrant, since you'd caused some problems! What happened?" Sci asked, seeming clearly confused.

Dust started shaking more.

"H-he's... I can't..." he whispered, clutching at himself, barely able to breath through the realisation, close to hyperventilating.

Sci didn't seem to know what to do, so he tried pulling Dust into an awkward hug. He didn't know what else to do,"Shh. There there....it's ok....you'll....be ok. What happened?" Sci tried tentatively.

Dust shook more, crying shakily, his chest tight.

"Horror..." he whispered brokenly, leaning into Sci helplessly.

'He... I need him...' he thought desperately, his soul throbbing painfully.

Sci stopped the hug after a second, realizing how stupid that'd been. Sci seemed to be drawing a blank, and he waited nervously, not knowing what else to do.

"Um. It's gonna be ok, alright. Just please, tell me what's going on. I can help if you do." Sci pleaded hopelessly.

Dust nodded shakily, clutching at himself tightly, trying to control his shaking, his fingertips digging into his sides hard enough to cause some pain.

"O-kay..." he whispered, his eyes full of pain.

"Horror... He... I..." he trailed off, his fingers digging more into his sides as he tried to organise his thoughts.

"...I fell in love with him, okay..? I... I need him," he whispered, still digging his fingertips into himself, his gaze fixed on the ground.

Sci's eyes widened, and he gazed curiously at Dust.

"Was he a patient here? Or is he still...is he Dr. Duessbag's patient? "

Dust nodded shakily, crying softly.

"He's... He's still..." he whispered brokenly, shattering.

'He's still the doctor's patient. He's still being hurt. I can't protect him from anything... I can't do anything...' he thought helplessly, feeling completely useless.

Sci nodded, trying to understand it all. He gently grabbed Dust by the wrist.

"C'mon Dust. We need to talk, privately. I have a friend you should meet. And don't worry...I'm gonna help you." Sci gently pulled Dust's hand in the darkness.

Dust nodded, smiling forcedly.

"Okay," he said quietly, moving in the direction that Sci had tugged him towards.

The pair entered a door, walking down a short hallway, and entered a lab/office, which Dust assumed belonged to Sci.

Sci's office was painted in warm colors, and has the soft smell of vanilla. The place was not at all threatening, in fact, it made Dust feel much less scared. Standing at a coffee dispenser, was another Sans.

"Red! We have company. I brought Dust here!" Sci gently calmed, letting go of Dust's hand.
