Horror smiled weakly, and muzzled into Dust's chest, dozing away.

That was the recap

Dust sighed softly, holding Horror closer with a weak smile, closing his eyes slowly.

His sockets snapped back open when images of Horror, hurt and beaten, flashed through his mind. He paused momentarily, then sighed again, this time dejectedly, accepting that he wouldn't be getting any sleep.

'He's okay. He's here. He's okay. He's okay...'

Horror tiredly looked up at Dust's scared face, caressing Dust's cheek.

"What's wrong?"

Dust, slumped into Horror's hand slightly, giving a small, sad smile.

"It's nothing," he said quietly, kissing the other's forehead gently. "Don't worry about it, go to sleep, you look tired..."

Horror slowly rubbed his eyes, flinching at the pain in his arms from the movement.

"I don't want a lie, Dust. I'm tired, but I know a lie. Please, tell me?"

Dust gave a small, hesitant nod, unable to say no to Horror even if he wanted to.

"I just... Keep seeing you getting hurt in my mind," he whispered, looking down. "It's nothing to worry about, really... Just get some rest, you need it..."

Horror smiled, snuggling against Dust.

"You do too." He responded.

Dust sighed softly, smiling weakly.

"I don't matter," he pointed out softly. "You do."

"Thinking that way, makes you matter even more. You're trying to help me, even after I'M the one who got us all into this mess. You matter, more than anything." Horror explained.

Dust shook his head.

"You didn't do anything wrong, Horror... This will never be your fault," he said quietly, his eyes soft and genuine. "And... I don't. I don't matter. You're the one who matters. You're the important one. I'm just the trash that's tagging along."

(Lol, no Dust. Hasn't anyone told you yet? You're the main character boi! ^w^)

Horror sighed, looking down, defeated. He just rested again, trying to doze off. Now he couldn't, he felt bad.

Dust immediately felt guilty, realising that the defeated aura Horror had was because of him.

"Sorry..." he whispered, his stomach twisting. "I didn't... I wasn't thinking..."

'I'm an idiot. How bad can I get..?'

Horror shook his head. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I can't bear to think that you doubt yourself. You're EVERYTHING to me, and it hurts me to know you're sad." Horror whispered, keeping his head down.

Dust felt more guilt come crashing down on him.

"I'm sorry..." he said quietly, his eyes sad. "I'm sorry, I... I didn't mean it, okay..?"

He'd meant every word. He just wasn't thinking properly, and let the words slip, when they should have stayed in his head.

'I'm so awful... How could I..?'

Horror looked up at Dust, tears edging his eyes.

"Enough of the 'I'm so awful!' Please! You're nothing bad, heck, you're perfect. Stop with the hate. I love you, ok?" Horror stated, hugging Dust.
