Recap
The doctor is ded. (Not exactly what the last part said, but hey. I'm lazy)
Recap end
Dust shivered at the sound, clinging to himself, trembling as he clung to consciousness, needing to get to Horror.
The anon was gone. Only ethos of laughter sounded, not aiding in Dust's exhaustion.
Dust shuddered violently, collapsing to the ground, unable to stay standing no matter how determined he was.
"Horror..." he whispered weakly, clinging to himself, trying his best to stay conscious.
Whispers of flowers touched Dust's face, soothing him with their voices of wind.
Dust shivered, his mind fuzzy, everything dull as he forced himself to his feet, managing only three shaky steps before he fell to the ground again, unconscious.
<Timeskip to three hours later>
Dust woke with a start, giving a small whine, his eye sockets snapping opened.
Horror was the first thing on his mind, followed by self hate for being so weak as to pass out before even trying to find his love.
No echo answered Dust's voice, leaving him alone in this empty garden of his enemy's dust.
Dust forced himsef to his feet, shaky but far better than before he passed out.
He barely glanced at the Doctor's dust as he pushed himself on, having no clue where he was going, but determined to find Horror.
Horror.
The garden seemed like a maze, twisting and turning in all directions.
Dust picked a direction and went there, his mind hazy.
The maze seemed to make Dust feel more and more lost every second. It seemed to offer no clues as to which way to go. Dust only really had two options.
Keep wandering this endless maze with no idea where he was whatsoever, or go back to where the doctor was and search for clues as to an escape route there.
Dust sighed eventually, retracing his steps. When he reached the doctor's dust, he kicked at it half-heartedly, his manner defeated, his eye sockets dark.
The doctor's coat lay deflated, dust covering them. Perhaps a clue could be in them?
Dust felt tempted to destroy the coat, as well as anything that was ever even related to the doctor.
Instead, he picked up the coat, searching through it.
Eventually, a box of mints, some vials, a cell phone, and a folded paper were found.
Dust unfolded the paper, pocketing the rest of the items, then dropping the coat.
The paper was a giant map of the entire asylum. The map made it look smaller than it really was.
Dust glanced over it, soon finding where he was. Honestly, though, he had no idea where Horror was being kept, he was just going out on a whim.
At least a brief explanation of how to leave the maze was set, seeing as ANYONE could get lost in it.
Dust sighed softly, turning back to the maze, walking back towards it, but not before kicking the doctor's coat into the nearby waterfall.
The coat rushed away with the running water, making a light splash as it plunged down into the lower darkness.
Dust sighed lightly, giving a bitter smile. He glanced down at the map again, beginning to follow the instructions through the maze.
It was slightly confusing, but after careful following of the directions, Dust was out.
Dust bit his figurative lip once he was out.
"Fuck, what now. I have no clue where to go.'
He sighed, wishing that the anon had stuck around a while longer.
The hallway has far of voices of doctors, patients yelling, and just noise.
Dust continued cautiously, hoping that he would somehow run into Horror, Sci or Red.
Doctors stood nonchalantly in the hallway, either writing down things or whatnot. Visitors and patients also crowded the place, nobody seeming to notice Dust.
Dust frowned slightly, attempting to walk through the mess of people, just hoping to be lost in the crowd.
Dust seemed to blend in with the surrounding crowd, as everyone else seemed too busy on their own to notice Dust.
Dust kept his head down, continuing through the crowd, folding the map and pocketing it so as not to lose it.
Humans, monsters, they both passed by NOT noticing Dust, or even one another. Everyone was probably just anxious to get their buissness done and leave this place.
Dust continued, faster now, just wanting to get through the crowd.
The crowd pushed and turning, stopping and restarting the flow here and there. An open door lay nearby. An escape, right?
Dust hesitated, checking the map, not wanting to take an exit that led to further danger if he could help it.
He just wanted Horror. He just needed Horror.
It said that apparently, this door led to the private cells. That sounded promising.
Dust walked through the door quickly, his need growing with each step he took.
This room was small, and little mini rooms were boxed of, along with several sinks. Suddenly, a woman came out of one of the stalls and screamed when she saw Dust.
She quickly shoved him out, pointing to a sign, and evil eyeing him. The girl's bathroom.
(He just faced the most danger he's ever faced right there XD)
Dust glanced at the sign and winced, offering a quick, sincere apology to the woman, before backing out of the room quickly, obviously embarrassed.
'Shit.'
The map read that the door Dust was looking for, was actually just next door. A simple, yet totally embarrassing mistake.
Dust blushed softly, more embarrassed when he realised his mistake.
'...'
He stepped through the next door wordlessly, determined.
This door held within it a small hallway ending in a fork in the road, either side of the walls lines with cells. Prisoners here and there.
Dust walked down the hallway, glancing around, pretty much desperate for any sign of Horror, any sign of his friends.
One or two skeletons, but non being Horror, Sci, or Red.
Dust sighed, not sure what he was expecting, especially considering the large expanse of the asylum, but his eyes were sad nonetheless.
He checked the map again, already despondent after only two rooms.
It said that apparently this room currently held all the guests. BUT, down in the bottom corner a little mark was on the map. It wasn't noticeable if not looked for, but it seemed important. Maybe, a clue?
(Note)
Cliffhanger...
Yup.
