"Yeah! We're going to find Mommy!" Lea excitedly sang, humming. Sci looked at Dust in confusion. After all, Horror's dead....right?

Dust looked down slightly, fiddling slightly.

"It's... A story..." he mumbled, just wanting to hang on to the hope that Horror could still be okay, just wanting for him to be okay...

Sci nodded slowly, deciding to not talk on the matter. After all, it was Dust's life, his choices.

Dust kept fidgeting slightly, nervous about the entire situation.

Sci smiled, turning and walking away. "Well, I'll leave you two to plan then. Come to Red when you're all planned out. I'll be busy. Good luck." Sci called, Lea staring his way.

Dust nodded, smiling softly, then hesitated.

"maybe you should get some sleep first," Dust suggested, remembering how Lea said that she was tired.

Lea nodded, as if one cue, becoming immensely tired. She walked over to the hallway, followed by a soft thud.

Dust laughed quietly, following the smaller.

Lea staggered to her room, trying to keep herself upright. As she reached her bed, she simply collapsed, passing out.

Dust sighed quietly, smiling softly, sitting down on his bed but not wanting to sleep, just staying there, wary of the nightmares that would no doubt come as soon as he drifted off.

However, a peaceful call seemed to be calling Dust to sleep, and it had the whisper of Horror's voice on its threads.

Eventually, Dust laid down, curling up on his side, listening, wanting to hear more of what seemed like Horror's voice, hoping that it wasn't just a figment of his imagination.

"... Horror..? ...I love you..." he whispered to the air, hoping against hopes that his love could hear him.

"I love you too, rest now." Came a whisper back, as sleep washed over Dust's tired skeleton.

Dust smiled ever so slightly, closing his eye sockets and slowly drifting off to sleep.

<A peaceful rest later>

Dust woke slowly, his eye sockets flickering open to be met with the sight of the ceiling.

He hadn't experienced a nightmare, for once.

Lea lay sleeping and twitching in her own bed.

Dust looked over at the child, before sighing quietly and laying back down, just staring up at the ceiling.

A gentle knock on the door interrupted Dust's thoughts.

Dust rolled out of bed, walking over to the door and opening it slowly, so as not to make any noise.

Horror stood there in the door, smiling at Dust.

Dust eye sockets widened, and he took a small step back.

"...H-Horror..?" he whispered, his voice cracked and full of emotion, like he was going to start sobbing.

Horror smiled, holding out his arms in welcome to Dust. "Come on."

Shocked tears spilt from his eyes as Dust stepped forward, hugging the other tightly, desperately, his hands trembling slightly . Small stutters left his mouth, but that was all, his surprise and excitement at seeing Horror completely overwhelming him.

The skeleton in his arms suddenly seemed hesitant to hug back, but still did so slowly. "Uh, Dust?"

Dust jumped back as if he'd been shocked, paused for a moment, then started apologising madly, clutching at his head slightly.
