"Good morning" I got up and wrapped my arms around Jack from behind who was getting dressed in the mirror

"Morning" he smirked to me through the mirror. I noticed the bags under his eyes. It couldn't be jet lag seeing as it's only a one hour difference. I'm not going to mention it but it was odd I've noticed it before but they were never this prominent.

"Where's the kids?" I asked as he turned around so we were now face to face

"They're downstairs with my parents" he breathed as he squeezed me tighter

"Are you excited for tonight?" I asked him as my hands made their way to his butt which made him laugh out nervously

"I am actually" he rested his chin on my head "I'm excited for you to meet the people I grew up with"

"Oh you want me to come tonight?" I pulled away

"Of course I do. Do you not want to come?" He asked

"I can I just didn't think you'd want me there that's all" I added as I walked over to my suitcase and pulled out my jeans and white blouse.

"Why wouldn't I want you there?" He inquired as he sat at the edge of his bed

"I just don't want to take the spotlight off you" I stated and he nodded "when people hear Kardashian that's all they seem to hear and it's your night" I said while pulling my jeans up. I walked out to the mirror with only my bra and jeans on and began examining myself in the mirror.

"Everyone knows that you're my wife so there's no issue. I promise I want you there" he started "and what are you doing?" He furrowed his brows as he watched me turn in the mirror as I brought my hand up and down my midsection

"Well then I'll be there" I beamed "and just the baby weight I still need to lose" I rolled my eyes "another twenty pounds should do it" I said as I pulled my pants up a little higher

"Are you crazy you're perfect" he admired from the bed and don't get me wrong he was being sweet and he had no issues with the extra twenty pounds I had since I had River but I saw an issue with it.

"Thank you baby" I awed "I just it's been a month and I'll just feel better once it's gone" I mumbled

"Babe don't put so much pressure on yourself no one expects you to bounce back right away, I sure as hell don't I love you just as much. And there's plenty of women who have two year olds and haven't fully bounced back. She's a month old, and you look amazing. If I didn't know any better I wouldn't think you just had a baby" although I didn't agree with him I really appreciated his pep talks

"Jack" I awed as I walked over and wrapped my arms around his neck and brought our lips together "I love you" I whispered into his lips, kissing him one last time and pulling away to put my blouse on.

"I love you too" he smiled as he reached out for my hand signalling he wanted help getting up. I pretended to be annoyed and I latched on to his arm and pulled him up with all my strength he wasn't heavy I was just weak

"Please don't make me ever do that again" I breathed trying to regain a steady rhythm
