Chapter 36

Jack's POV
"Kennedy Mary Kardashian will you marry me?" I asked and everyone around me was gasping and aweing and snapping photos. I could see the emotion in her eyes. I really loved her.

She smiled the way she did when she was nervous and she nodded

"Yes?" I asked

"Yes of course I'll marry you" she responded and I slipped the ring on her finger and I leaned down to give her a kiss. She had tears in her eyes and rightfully so because I did too so did everyone.

"Wow" she wiped away the tears that had escaped her eyes

"I love you so much" I said as I pulled her into a hug

"I love you too" she whispered into my shoulder

Not long after all the congratulations and tears from her part of the family it was time to get the twins and head home.

Kennedy's POV
It was Christmas morning and I couldn't have been happier. I was woken up by my kids jumping on the bed. As I open my eyes I see Jack looking at me.

"Good morning" he smiled and the kids stopped jumping

"Finally" the twins said in unison and I gave them a confused look and looked to jack

"I told them to keep jumping until you woke up" he said

"Well what are we waiting for? Presents are downstairs waiting for you to open them" I said and they squealed and ran to the stairs as I got up and wrapped myself in my robe the sunlight caught my ring leaving a rainbow pattern on the wall. I still couldn't believe I was going to be marrying the man of my dreams.

"You coming?" He peaked from around the corner and I nodded and followed him down. Not too long after Jack and I made our way downstairs there was a knock on the door and I knew it was Justin and Selena.

"Hi" I cheered as Justin walked in and gave me a hug followed by Selena and I noticed someone behind Selena "Patty?... Patty!" I was confused as to why she was here but I didn't want to let my confusion that may be mixed with annoyance show.

"Kennedy" she smiled. I'm sure it was fake. After that whole Justin thing and kicking him out and him not seeing the twins for like two years she blamed me, she called me one night and cussed me out about it and we haven't spoken since. She pulled me into a hug "pregnant again I see" she plastered on her fake smile and gently sighed

"Mhmm" I said while biting my tongue. Jack could sense the anger and he wrapped his arm around me.

"And you must be Jack" she moved on. She was now standing in front of him.

"Yeah I am it's nice to meet you" he smiled and she didn't give him a smile... no instead his smile was followed by a rude comment.

"Your the one that took Justin's place in the twins life.." and Jack gave us all a weird look and that was it I was about to step in when Justin spoke up. Finally.

"Mom enough he didn't replace me. He was just man enough to be there for Kennedy and the twins when I wasn't and I appreciate him for that. There's enough room for both of us" he explained "now apologize to Jack and Kennedy" he finished

"I'm sorry.." that was probably the least sincere apology that I had ever received "so where are they?" She asked and I rolled my eyes

"Follow me" I said and I walked to the living room and pointed to the couch

"Grandma is here guys" she smiled and looked sincere for the first time. They didn't really respond because they didn't know the woman. They met her one other time and that was at the party not too long after they were born. To then my mom was their grandma and Jack's Mom took on the role as well.
