Chapter 43

Jack's POV
It's Kennedy's 23rd birthday today and I woke up especially early to make her breakfast. It was around 8:30 and I walked to the twins rooms and they were still sleeping. They are really good at sleeping in. I went in to Noah's nursery to see that he was awake and just staring at his mobile.

"Good morning buddy" I smiled and picked him up and laid him down on the change table. I took off his 'lady's man' onesie and threw it into the hamper and proceeded to change his diaper and put him into his monkey outfit. We weren't going out so I just put more pjs on him.

"Alright little man lets get downstairs" I said as I held him and made my way to the stairs where he cooed. "Shh we can't wake anyone up" I whispered and finished with a chuckle. We got to the kitchen and I set his chair on the counter and buckled him in as I began warming up his bottle. Once it was warm I picked him up and fed him his bottle. Once it was done I burped him then put him back in his seat. I began making breakfast. I made her favourite a western omelette with toast and orange juice. Once I was done the whole process it was closer to 9:30 which seemed like a good time to wake her. Before I knew it the twins were down here.

"Good morning you two" I smiled and so did they. As they say at the island

"What's for breakfast" Aidan asked. I looked to them Aidan looked eager to eat but Olivia was day dreaming

"Well it's mom's birthday today right? So I made her breakfast in bed. How about you guys help me bring it up? Then when she's eating we'll let her have some quiet time and I'll come down and make us something. Deal?" I asked and they both nodded their heads.

"Okay I'll take Noah and the tray. Olivia you'll take the juice. Be careful and Aidan you can take the plate okay?" I asked and they both did as I asked and we all slowly made our way up the stairs to our room. I set the tray down on the nightstand and took the plate and juice from the twins and told them to wake her up

"Mommy!"

"Mommy!"

"Wake up!"

And with that her eyes opened and she gently rubbed them

"Good morning guys" she laughed and propped herself up on her elbows

"Happy birthday Mommy!" The twins yelled as they jumped up and down on the bed

"Thanks baby's" she smiled as she held her arms out for hugs which they gladly gave her. They jumped down and she turned to me.

"Happy birthday beautiful" I said as I leaned down and gave her a kiss "I made you breakfast" I said as I pointed to the tray

"Thanks babe" she smiled

"I'm going to bring them down and make them something to eat. You relax" I said as I made my way to the door with Noah still in my arms

"Can you leave him though?" She asked and I laughed and handed him to her.

"You're getting so big" I heard her say to Noah. She was right he'll be four months old soon

I got downstairs to see the twins patiently waiting at the island.

"Alright guys" I clapped my hands "what should we make ourselves?" I asked

"Ooh Ooh pancakes!" Aidan suggested

"I could go for some pancakes" I laughed "What about you Olivia?" I asked and she shrugged

"Sure why not" she shrugged again. Man this kid is too much sometimes. She sounds like an adult.

"Alright well it's settled pancakes it is!" I said and they cheered. "Grab your chairs and come help me" I said and they dragged their chairs to the counter.
