4 months later... It's Christmas Eve and I'm wrapping gifts. Justin got out of rehab today he has been in for about 3 months. It's pretty exciting the kids are now 6 months old which is crazy and it'll be their first Christmas. As for Jack and I we've been texting I haven't really told anyone yet because I don't want people to think it's something it's not we are just friends.. for now anyways... but I just think it's not right to move on so quickly... not fair to Justin I know I shouldn't care since he hurt me but I can't help it. I'm still living at my moms place until I find a new place because I don't want to stay in a house I once shared with Justin.
"Hey Hun how's the wrapping going?" My mom came into my room
"Good good I have a bit more then I'm done" I said while not making eye contact and continuing to wrap
"Omg Kennedy you are wrapping their gifts in front of them" she said while pointing to Olivia and Aidan in their bouncers
"Mom they are six months old they don't know it's theirs" I said
"I'm going to bring my gifts over to Kris's house" my mom said while beginning to exit the room
"Can you bring mine over? I have to meet Justin with the twins" I said finishing up the last gift
"Wait Justin's out?" My mom asked
"Yeah he's getting out today" I replied while picking the twins up to bring them downstairs
"Did they let him out because he is healthy and well enough or are they letting him out because it's Christmas Eve?" My mom asked with one of her eyebrows slightly raised
"Mom I have no idea but I'll make sure to ask when I see him" I said while walking into the living room where the tree was and I took a pic of the twins.
"They are so adorable" my mom said and I agreed
"Okay we've got to go but I'll see you later" I said while grabbing the twins and giving my mom a kiss on the cheek and I walked out the door and to the car. And drove to Justin's.
"Hey you guys are here" he said while opening up the door wider and taking Aidan.
"So how have you been" he asked
"Really good" I replied
"That's good" he replied and I forced a smile. Things between us used to be so easy and natural but now it's just awkward
"So what have you been up to since I left" he asked curiously. I think I know what he was getting at jack and I have been flirting online for awhile most recently when I posted today. And I mean he must've seen it since it's everywhere online.
