Chapter 59

"Jack, great you're here!" I jumped off the bed and came face to face with someone who wasn't Jack.

"Yeah.. not Jack" He added smuggly

"What the hell are you doing here?" I questioned

"What do you mean what is he doing here?" Madison mocked as she walked through the door, I groaned not wanting to cause a scene in a hospital where my daughter could be wheeled in at any point "It's his daughter, he needed to come do a wellbeing check seeing as you're so unstable. Who knows how she broke her leg?" she added innocently implying that I in fact broke her leg

"You know what Madison? You're taking this act way too far and to even accuse me of doing such a thing is low. Even for you" I spat "and you" I pointed "Don't you think you've done enough? You've been in and out of their lives from the beginning when will it be for good?"

"I'm here to see my daughter and not fight with you" He added simply. He is clearly letting Madison do all of his fighting now I guess.

"Justin, I don't know what you don't understand? Maybe you were too drunk to remember but you delivered termination of parental rights papers to my house before you left and you bet your ass I went the very next day to file them. She is no longer your daughter. Legally anyway" I walked out the door and into the hallway to make sure that one, no one was listening, two, Olivia wasn't about to come in and most importantly that Jack wasn't about to walk in.

"How dare you?" Justin teared up "How dare you take my daughter away from me" Madison walked over to console him

"Okay I don't know what's going on here" I gestured to the crying man being comforted by his bitchy girlfriend "I don't know where you've been the past what year? where this would be news to you? but I didn't take your kids away from you. You gave them away and didn't come back"

He continued to cry and Madison continued to comfort him while I noticed Jack walking in down the hall out the corner of my eye. I quickly scurried over to him. His smile was now replaced with a look of worry.

"Hey" He opened his arms for a hug which I accepted "Everything okay?" he questioned as we began walking back towards the room

"No everything is horrible. Justin and Madison are in Olivia's room" I added as he quickly stopped

"Please tell me you're joking" He looked to me with dark eyes and I quickly shook my head, he handed me the happy meal and he turned on his heels and began walking toward the room. I ran to him and pulled at his wrist. He looked at me one last time

"Jack please don't" I begged "Not here" i replied lowly

"Why does he need to do this? Every time. He just can't stay gone" He ran his hand through his hair

"They were happy..." I trailed lowly "They were just settling in to having just us and he's here to mess things up" I added through tears

"Please don't cry" He pulled me into one last hug "I know it's frustrating but you can't let Olivia see you cry" He rubbed my back a few times kissing the top of my head before i pulled away

"You're right" I sniffled as I used my sweater sleeves to wipe my eyes "God he just makes me so mad" we walked in with Jack's arm securely wrapped around my waist as we walked in and faced Madison and Justin who were clearly in the middle of a conversation

"You know Madison I've tried so hard to change and this-" He stopped as he heard Jack scoff

"You've changed huh?"

"What is he doing here?" Justin snapped as he gestured to Jack

"You mean my husband and my children's father?" I questioned
