I could faintly tell that I was being dragged away by someone. I looked up to see Alex dragging my dead weight back towards the house. My vision was spotty and everything was spinning a little. A sharp pain spiked in my leg and I could feel Alex move faster. I shakely lifted my gun and just let off two shots forward. I knew i was facing roughly towards the house and it was enough to delay him even a few seconds for Alex to maybe drop me and get to safety or go faster. I felt my body hit the ground and thought he had dropped me and ran and I was thankful and just closed my eyes until i felt something press on my leg and stomach as a door closed. I groaned and tried to move but two people held me down. One was Justyn and the other was Alex. I could hear someone yelling at someone else. Two males. I tried to sit up but Alex and Justyn didn't move so I opted for just turning to see.

I saw Eric and Ryder standing in front of each other and yelling. My vision was beginning to clear and I could hear things well enough again to know what was going on. I rolled my eyes and squeezed them shut hard to try and stop the tears from coming. I managed to get justyn off as I told him to go secure the perimeter.

" She's your girlfriend! What is your problem!" Eric was yelling and pointing at me. Ryder was red in the face and pissed as all fuck.

" Like I care! You really think she's still my girlfriend after what she did to Nathan! You think I want to be wasting our medical supplies on that!" he said pointing at me. I'd had enough. Eric looked like he was ready to rip out Ryders throat and Alex didn't look too thrilled either.

"Alex, help you're dearest sister up so she can kick someones ass," he knew there was no way of getting me to stay down. He'd either help or i'd do it myself. After Grace finished wrapping my wounds, which other than the gut shot were minor, Alex grabbed my arm and I managed to stand. I shook a little and was tired but was going to deal with this first. He helped steady me and we walked over to the two. Eric saw me coming and came to help Alex carry me.

"Oh look, here comes the slut now. You know I should have listened to what you're ex-girlfriend had say about you. She was right." No hint of remorse, or sorrow, or anything. Or of the creature. This was all him. I took a steadying breath before responding. I made sure to keep a level head in this situation because both boy were upset.

"Fuck you," I said loud and proud. Alex's grip on me loosened while Eric's tightened. He was ready to keep Ryder from getting to me, "Oh it's ok. He won't do anything. He had no weapons and still half a conscience to not do anything." Almost as if on que, Ryder launched himself at me with such speed it knocked Alex and Eric aside. Ryder tackled me and rolled. As we rolled I drew my gun and stood, pressing it to the back of his head.

"I'm going to say this slowly," I spoke as Alex came up behind me, keeping a hand on my back to keep me up. Though tears fell down my face my voice stayed steady as I spoke to Ryder, "I'm chalking this up to the Adderall, though i know you're words are true. You're being demoted as Captain and i'm putting Austin in for you. You don't have to talk to me, or look at me, or interact with me but you will not threaten or hurt anyone on this team or in this group. Is that perfectly clear?" Ryder nodded in response.

I unchambered the round that was in the gun and stepped back into Alex who kept me up right. He leaned over and whispered to me. "You're shaking. If you don't wanna show weakness to him then I suggest we go before he turns around." I nodded and looked at Lillian who looked like she was seeing red. I just shook my head cuz he wasn't worth it. A small part of me was hoping this was just him grieving his brother because Nathan had warned he would blame me for it but, this wasn't what i expected. She just rolled her neck and stood next to Justyn who was deathly calm.

"It's fine guys, just let it be," I stated, more of an order than anything else. I followed side by side with Alex as he led me to the living room of the house. I laid down on the couch and he moved to leave. "Don't leave," I whispered through tears, my voice finally breaking. I wasn't facing him, my face was buried in the back of the couch but he still heard.
