I looked around, knowing that the tool table wasn't there beforehand. I looked closely at the walls of my room to see one of the panels fall into place. I smiled to myself, knowing that even now I hadn't been abandoned to fight on my own. I looked closely at the table to see that words were branded onto the surface of it.

" Good luck. Really? I'll need more than luck. You're my more than luck charm." I said aloud knowing Nathan would listening for a little bit. I smiled before I set to work. I knew the creature would know sooner than later that I had this and it would be after me.

I ripped up what was left of my clothing, left in just my bra and come very short makeshift shorts. I bound my wounds, and then I wrapped my hands before breaking the shaft off of a few weapons and bind them to my numb leg for support, making sure to leave my knee joint free to move and my hip uncompromised. Justyn kept trying to signal to me, ask me how I was, but he was always left without a response. He finally gave up trying to signal and just spoke.

" What are you doing fireheart?" he whispered, almost as if he was saying it to himself. I just laughed and continued working. I strapped a sword to my back, three small daggers to my thigh in various places, and I had a spear. I looked at my handiwork and smiled. I began to pace the room, plan after plan forming in my head. I had plans A-Z, then when I ran out of letters I started using numbers. This was going to be a long fight and I knew it was going to end badly.

" You may be fireheart and my high lady, but we know there is a young, broken crime lord in you yet, and that thing had better fear the Kaz Brekker that you are," Justyn said from the wall. I hit the floor with the butt end of my spear once, earning a laugh from him. " God, what I would give to see what you look like right now. You have probably officially lost your mind, haven't you?" I hit the floor once more. He smiled. I burnt that memory into my head, never allowing myself to forget it. As I watched, his smile died and he looked at the barrier.

" You're not going to survive this, are you?" he asked. I walked up to the barrier, putting my hand on it and leaning my forehead on it. I tapped the ground with the spear. Twice. He let out a shallow breath before looking at Lillian and Ryder. Ryder's bleeding has stopped, the creature finally holding it back.

" We're all going to miss you ya know. No matter what you did, we're always going to remember you." He looked more at Ryder now. "This kid is going to be heartbroken. Gods above, he loves you more than life itself. This is going to ruin him. And Lillian. Her sister is going to be gone. My sister is going to be gone," he said. I hit the barrier nine times, feeling it pulse under my beats. This time, Ryder answered.

" Babe." Ryder said with the most venom i've ever heard in his voice and with steel in his gaze, "You kick it's ass. You make it pay, you make it sorry that it ever chose you to mess with. You make it wish it was never born." White hot anger burned in his eyes, and only got brighter as he continued, "And then when you are done, you come home to me. You hear me?" He began to cry.

" You come home to me." As he finished the room began to spin. Morphing and changing into a field. Though it wasn't the one from the previous nightmares. It was familiar, like home, but different. I spun in a circle, trying to place why the space was so familiar. Then I spotted Ryder, Justyn, and Lillian tied up to a power tower and it hit me. This was the field next to my house, even with the added touches. I smiled. I had a slight advantage, even if it picked it from my mind, I was used to the terrain, I could navigate it with my eyes closed despite the new add-on's meant to deter me from doing it. I laughed as I ran to them.

When I reached them I was out of breath but that didn't change a thing. They were all sitting down, tied around the tower. I carefully walked towards them, until I realized there was no barrier. Nothing keeping me from them. Then I looked closer and a fire lit inside of me, burning with such intensity that you could have seen it from the sky. The first thing I saw on Lillian was that she was missing a leg. Her right leg was missing, and she now had a hole in her neck, along with the fact that she would forever be blind in her left eye because of a scratch leading from her eyebrow to her chin on the left side. Next, was Ryder who was missing his right arm at the shoulder, his socket empty like it had been ripped clean out, along with both knees dislocated, and his right ankle along with his knees. He had a hole in the right side of his face from the creature too add to everything. And Justyn, he was bruised so bad it would be hard for anyone else to identify him at this point. His left eye was swollen shut, and his right wrist dislocated, leaving his left hand to hold in the guts that were threatening to spill out and land at his feet from a new gash in his stomach. White fury lit inside me, brighter than anything I thought possible. I watched as Justyn recognized it and rolled his eyes.

" Don't be reckless. Kaz thought everything through even despite what was thrown at him," he said. I huffed out a laugh.

" Ah, yes he did. But Aelin," I paused to let him figure out my current mental state, "She thought nothing through when it came to her court. She made shit up and we know it. So did Feyre," I said. A look of pure fear struck his face, and I simply smiled knowing he just put together what would happen if those three character we're to become one.

" Shit, is about to go down. You better make this worth watching Fireheart." he said. I nodded, giving him an overly dramatic bow. I turned to Ryder, who had tears in his eyes.

" Look at you. You're so small, so fierce, so brave and loyal and loving. And mine. I love you so much," he said as I grabbed the left side of his face. I kissed him quickly and took a step back and moved to Lillian.

" You keep these two out of trouble, and make sure Justyn is quiet while I work," I said through tears. " You make sure," I told her. She nodded, fighting back her own tears. I took a step back, feeling the ground shake. In the back of my mind I was hoping that it would come in it's normal form, but as I turned around and saw it across the field I had to take a breath, and I heard Justyn swear under his breath. It looked like her again. I turned back around to them.

" I'll make you proud of me this day. I'll make myself worthy to be called your friend." I said as I looked at all three of them in the eye.

" Shoulder to shoulder, until darkness claim us," Justyn said.

" Let's hope today the darkness stays away," I whispered as I looked over my shoulder. His voice drew me back.

" What do we say to the god of Death?" he asked. I smiled, the one quote that wasn't from a book.

" Not today," I said lightly.

" You kick it's ass, you bring all the fire you have in your tiny body down on it. You give it your all, fathom?" he half yelled had spoke.

" Fathom." and with one last look at my family, my little court of dreamers, I looked up the power line. Then, an idea. A crazy hopeful one. With that, I took off climbing up the power line. I heard Ryder start questioning me, his words closely resembling "what the fuck is she doing". I smiled, a wicked smile that I knew would make Justyn's worried face turn to a face of fear.

" You. You will not get the best of me this time. You will not live this time. Either you leave," I said as I reached a small sitting place, hoping that it just took a copy of the field from my memory then added some things too it. As I reached the top I caught a glimpse of a rope and almost yelled in delight, " Or we leave together." I said as I grabbed it and tied it to my waist and climbed back down. I began walking towards an old wrecked car that i decided to hide under till the creature decided to stop circling the perimeter of the field.

Hello,

Sorry that it is taking me a while to update all of these. My life's been a bit crazy, I've been out of the country, and camping twice this summer and so i didn't have any time to do anything on here. Anyways, here's this next part. I plan on uploading a lot more frequently but i can't promise to anything. Thank you to all the people who still read with me this far. Despite the time gap in these being updated i still do suffer from the nightmares and find this an easy way to help get them out of my head, also while having people enjoy something out of the ordinary. As frequent as they are i do not have all of my nightmares up yet, there have been two since this one, but we'll get there soon, this was one of the shorter nightmares so i hope to get caught up soon. Again thank you to those who are around for this and i hope you enjoy these and check out my other work Curse of Eternity which is a co-written book with another writer and good friend.
