- man in a movie by day6

23:10, wednesday
16th day of december.

"so tiring." seungkwan mumbled, stretching.

the group had been practicing for the entire day . would occasionally rest for a couple of minute but it wasn't enough. although they wanted to have a long rest, they can't. now that the main producer asked them to drop a comeback within the month.

it's not like the producer was selfish. it was more like, the fans were getting suspicious.

there were a lo of rumours surrounding the group and it's getting out of hand. actually, they couldn't blame anyone.

they group have been in a hiatus for quite a long time which is totally suspicious.

after a few practice, the members somehow managed to nail the choreography.

if anyone would look at them, they would think the group have been practicing for a year or two.

"kwan, move your hands a little higher."

"you should move back a little jeonghan hyung. yeah that's it."

"seokmin, focus."  for the past few minute, soonyoung would constantly noticed little mistakes made by the members.

"are you fine mingyu?" asked soonyoung.

the group immediately stopped, staring at both soonyoung and mingyu.

"hyung?" panted mingyu.

"i asked if you were fine, you've been doing the same mistake since earlier." replied the choreographer, his black hair sticking to his forehead.

"sorry." apologized the younger.

"it's fine, i was just wondering if you're sick, let's just go back to practice." he instructed as the group obliged.

soonyoung furrowed his brows, watching the group."wonwoo, move a little closer."

for the whole entire hour, the group would continuously practice without having time to fool around.

soonyoung closed his eyes, heaving a sharp sigh.

"for god's sake everyone, please focused." sighed soonyoung, quoting the word focus.

"sorry." they replied in chorus.

the extreme exhaustion in the eyes of the choreographer became more visible.

after all, he's the one who would stay at the studio and practice room, works so hard for their comeback until his body couldn't take it anymore.

seungcheol felt that he's not doing his part as a leader, although everyone's think that he's doing great.

it just happened that soonyoung have way more responsibilities than him.

he makes the choreography for the group and this time, he even help the composer compose the song.

"god, for everyone's sake, why do you keep messing up kwan."

soonyoung's voice echoed throughout the room, making the group fell in silence.

"will you tell me-" soonyoung tensed up as soon as he felt a surprisingly warm hands hugging him from behind.

"calm down, go easy on that kid." jihoon said, voice soundung calm.

"sorry." apologized soonyoung, realizing what he had done.

"i was just stressed kwan, i didn't mean it. you did great, you guys can rest for awhile." he continued, voice becoming soft.

the group did what they were told to.

"you're so stressed out, i'm sorry i'm not there to help you." jihoon looked the older who towers over him.

he cupped the older's cheeks and smile.

"you're here." soonyoung corrected.

"but not alive, it's different soonyoung, you know." jihoon argued back, smiling.

"guys," soonyoung called, staring at jihoon.

"hm?"

"yeah?"

"what's up?"

"can you leave for awhile? i'll just text jun if we're fine to practice again." he instructed, his eyes still on the younger.

respecting the choreographer's decision, the group bid their goodbyes, telling that they will be back later.

"hug me hoon, you know that you're my solace." said soonyoung, smiling faintly.

jihoon hugged him, burying his face on the chest of the taller. the older snake his hand on the younger's waist, pulling him closer.

"i miss spending time with you, staying up all night and singing under the moonlight." said jihoon, voice slightly muffled.

"you're spending time with me." corrected the older."what's the difference baby?" he continued.

the younger chuckles."never mind." jihoon breaks the hug."you should call the others back, you need to practice." he continued.

the older shook his head."no." he argued as he cupped the cheeks of the younger."let's stay like this for more." he insisted, placing a soft kiss on the forehead of the latter.

the older leaned to kiss the tip of jihoon's nose.

"soonyo-"

"everything feels so right, let's be like this for more hour." soonyoung cutted him off.

"don't ever leave and stay for a little more." the older continued, sounding like he was begging."will you?" he stare at the younger with eyes looking so pained.

jihoon hummed."by the way, don't forget the movie marathon this coming saturday." jihoon reminded."have you told the others about it?" he asked.

"nope, maybe later this night, once we're at the dorm." replied soonyoung.

"hoon," soonyoung called, moving back a little to cupped the cheeks of the younger once again.

"hm?"

"what if, just what if the movie marathon is really that unfinished task of yours? what if, after that day, you disappeared." he sighed, lips quivering."what will happen to me?"

jihoon heave a sigh, flashing him a genuine smile to the older.

"it's just what if's but let's just see what will happen after that." jihoon held the hand of the older."we both know i can't stay for any longer, right?" jihoon smiled.

’’’

it was already three in the morning when the group finished practicing their dance.

they just literally perfect the choreography to the point that anyone couldn't point out a mistake. not even a little.

the group made their way back to the dorm in complete silence, no one dared to utter a single word to break the silence.

they like it that way.

once the group arrived, the choreographer informed them about the movie marathon where they agreed almost in instant.

after all, they want to spend more time with the others, lot of things happened in a day.
