Jin was shocked to say the least, when Hoseok, Jungkook and Taehyung all filed in to his room with several trays of food. They set up a small picnic on the floor, urging Jin to join them. Jin heard something about "their last meal" and "making lasting memories for the last time." It was creepy and it set off alarm bells in Jin's head but he still ate. Food was food and this was a special treat as he received as much food as he wanted. It felt nice to be so full he could explode. He hadn't felt that way in a long time and as much as he bemoaned himself for eating so much, he couldn't really be too upset.

In the back of his mind, Jin couldn't help but wonder why they were all suddenly being so kind to him. Sure, it was a nice change of pace from the threatening but Namjoon hadn't even punished him for trying to kill him. It was odd and Jin was full of questions, however he was far too afraid to ask. He only did as he was urged to do, afraid to step too far out of line in case this was a trick and they were simply going to beat him or make him pay later.

Another part of Jin urged him to believe that this was actually because the gang members had taken a liking to him but the shift still seemed a bit hasty. He thought it would take time for that to happen. And Jin couldn't charm them into liking him or trusting him. He wasn't sure... all his thoughts and feelings were so confusing. He couldn't sort through them all. All he could do was remain calm and take what was thrown at him.

Jin was surprised when the others didn't leave. It was getting late at night, Jin could feel it in himself. He would usually be asleep at this point but the gang members had kept him awake. Taehyung pressed short little kisses to his neck whenever he would start to nod off. Jungkook would peck him on the cheek or his lips if Jin turned his head a certain way. And Hoseok... Hoseok would grin and shout something to get Jin's attention.

Hoseok had actually taken his mask off for this meal and afterwards as well. It was odd and Jin wasn't exactly sure why but he was pleased to see a barefaced Jung Hoseok. Hoseok just looked so angelic with his mask off. It was almost as if he needed it on to play the bad boy role but with his normal, cherubic face... he only looked like a happy sun dancing into Jin's world and brightening things up in a gloomy place.

Jungkook's voice rang out as things quieted down. He was looking at his watch. Jin had tried to sneak a few peeks at it beforehand but Jungkook had always been quick to hide his hand or kiss Jin so he couldn't see. He didn't bother this tie, even announcing what he saw, "It's midnight." He seemed sad about it and Jin wasn't entirely sure why. He looked around to see Taehyung and Hoseok's mood also drop into a more melancholy state.

"Who goes first?" Taehyung's voice was quiet as he bit at his manicured nails. There was no polish on them, only a shiny gloss.

Hoseok shrugged. None of them wanted to be first. He dipped his head, "I guess I will. Can you guys... you know... leave?"

Taehyung and Jungkook stood and left, leaving Hoseok and Jin sitting on the floor, staring at each other.

"What's going on?" Jin wasn't afraid to ask Hoseok. Hoseok wouldn't hurt him.

"I'm saying goodbye," he answered truthfully.

Jin frowned, "What does that mean?"

Hoseok paused for a moment, seemingly in thought before he answered, "Namjoon has decided to let you go."

Jin could only stare. Was this a trick? Was Hoseok kidding? Was he playing with him? Hoseok had never done anything to him before so it seemed safe to assume he was telling the truth.

"I... I can leave?" he blinked, "I can go to my parents?"

Hoseok nodded, finally hoisting himself off the floor and dusting his pants off idly. He gave a stiff smile, seemingly forced, "I'm going to miss you."
