A month had passed. Ssssam had returned. She had informed the group about Aku's mysterious disappearance. Lotus had apologised for her rash decision. But that didn't change the fact that Aku was missing.
One day a gargantuan silver dragon twice the size of spitfire with curved horns circled around the base.
Lotus sent Spitfire to see what was going on. It was Aku! Spitfire did a twirl out of delight. Although dragons couldn't talk, they had incredible minds and have complex thoughts and emotions.
Spitfire landed with a thump and bounded around in delight.
"What is it girl?" Cal asked, throwing a piece of meat to the dry-blood coloured reptile.
The silver dragon landed grcefully and Aku slid down her wing. Sana rushed forward and hugged Aku tightly.
Aku whispered something into Sana's eyes widened and she nodded. The two girls ran for the main building. Amara frowned quizzically and ran after them. Sana and Aku ran faster. Kilorn, Cal, Flavia and Amara ran after them.
"Aku, wait up!"Flavia shouted.
Cal was much faster than the others and he caught up quickly. He ran blindly and crashed into a wandering hybrid.
"Sorry," he said, helping up the guy he crashed into.
Kilorn darted ahead. He got a closer look at Aku and stopped dead. He looked at his feet and Cal started to catch up. Kilorn grabbed Cal's coat coller to yank him back as he ran back. This resulted in a murbled gak on Cal's part.
"WHAT THE F*** WARREN???" Cal shouted, swinging at Kilorn. Kilorn grabbed his fist as it neared his face. He looked up at Cal slowly and shook his head. He released Cal's hand. The two girls had just about caught up now.
"Leave them," Kilorn said slowly. They were standing at the entrance of the main building.
